Our festivities will take place near the small medieval town of San Gimignano located in the Tuscan country side. Guests are encouraged to stay at Villa San Paolo where we will host welcome drinks and where guests will take shuttle buses to and from the ceremony and reception venue at Cesani Winery, located in Pancole. San Gimignano and the town of Certaldo, where the train station is located, is within the Siena Provence, about 55 minute drive south of Florence. Travel to and through Florence Italy is necessary and we encourage guests to either fly directly into Florence or to train to Florence from large international airports, ie. Milan or Rome. We do understand that car rentals can be expensive and while they are not required for our festivities they are encouraged if you choose to explore the Tuscan countryside.

If you would like to explore Florence (Firenze) on your way to us, we encourage you stay at the Mediterraneo. This will allow easy access not only to the city, but to the train station, airport and they allow car parking upon request.

The Florence train station is a hub that not only allows you to travel within Tuscany by the local (regionale) rail, but also by bullet train for fast, easy and comfortable travel between other major cities.

The cheapest way to get to Pancole, the town outside of San Gimingano, is to get the train from the Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence and to take the train to Certaldo. Once you get off the train in Certaldo, there is a small bar near the station where you can call a taxi that will drive you 5 minutes up the hill to Hotel Villa San Paolo.
