Alanna's favorite restaurant! This is located in Downtown LA--nowhere near the wedding, but well worth the trip if you're up for a drive.
Courage Bagels
Our favorite (*and arguably the only amazing) bagels in LA. This is not located near the venue, but Silverlake is a very fun part of LA that we recommend spending time in if you've never been. *Alanna's opinion
Lodge Bread Company
Our favorite bakery in LA, which happens to be owned by our friend!
Nativo
This is where we had our first date. Clearly, we recommend it! This is located in Highland Park, where we once lived for 5 minutes.
Neptune's Net
Admittedly, we've never been here, but it's an LA landmark popular for seafood.
Felix Trattoria
Evan Funke's Venice restaurant where we went for Matt's birthday. Super delicious, but we recommend reserving well in advance since it's hard to get in.
Smorgasburg (Los Angeles)
An outdoor food market in Downtown LA.

Anita La Mamma Del Gelato
We discovered this gelato on vacation in Israel, and now we live around the corner from the LA location. A must!
Bea's Bakery
Our favorite black & white cookies in LA--and the bakery where Matt buys Alanna many unsolicited boxes of cookies.

Griffith Observatory
This is where we went on our second date and took our engagement photos!
Firebreak Trail to Griffith Observatory
An easy hike that takes you up to the Griffith Observatory.
Lake Hollywood Park
A beautiful spot for views and getting up close and personal with the Hollywood sign.
Westridge Trailhead
A beautiful, mostly flat hike with beautiful views of the ocean.
Zuma Beach
A popular public beach close to the venue.
Paradise Cove Beach
A private beach with a restaurant/cafe on the sand.
Santa Monica Pier
There is a lot to do around here--walking the pier, shopping on 3rd street, and hanging out on the beach.
Runyon Canyon Park
Channel your inner basic B. We recommend going on this hike early since it gets very busy and parking can be difficult.
Venice Beach

The Village at Westfield Topanga
A cute outdoor mall walking distance from the hotel--with multiple ice cream shops :). There is a free trolley that takes you from The Village to the indoor Westfield Topanga mall.
Westfield Topanga
A traditional luxury indoor mall. A nice place to beat the heat and burn a hole in your pocket. There's a free trolley that takes you between this mall and The Village.
Warner Center Park

A new food court in Woodland Hills featuring 27 popular LA restaurants. This is located inside the Westfield Topanga mall.
Bowlero Woodland Hills
Escape the heat with AC and bowling!
Malibu Wines & Beer Garden
This popular winery is a misnomer, no longer located in Malibu proper--but it's within 10 minutes drive of the hotel and a nice place to spend an afternoon drinking. We suggest making a reservation.
Cielo Farms
An upscale winery actually located in Malibu, with beautiful views of the Santa Monica mountains. This is less than half an hour from the hotel. We suggest making a reservation.
