Holiday Inn Express Bloomington West, an IHG Hotel

The couple has reserved a room block at this hotel from Wednesday, October 9th through Sunday, October 13th (check out Monday, October 14th). Please specify to the hotel which nights you will be staying and how many rooms you will need for each night. CIRA is a smaller regional airport so airfare might be a bit higher. However, it is located in Bloomington-Normal and located only 5 miles from our home! You will have easy access to Uber, Lyft or rental cars to go straight to your hotel. Once you land, you're here and we can start the party! Airport code: BMI

Midway International Airport

Midway is located just outside of downtown Chicago so it is a little smaller and there will be less traffic. It is about a 2 hour drive to Bloomington-Normal, if you don't mind driving and planning on renting a car. This might be a cheaper alternative for flights than Central Illinois Regional. Chicago O'Hare International Airport

O'Hare International is located in the heart of downtown Chicago. O'Hare has a Blue Line that is directly connected to the airport and can take you to Union Station if you're planning on using public transportation. If you take the Blue Line, get off at the Clinton exit and walk a few short blocks to Union Station! Please be mindful of times of the day you'll be walking or landing in Chicago if you're planning on using public transportation. Airport Code: ORD

Amtrak

Bloomington-Normal has an Amtrak station that is located in the heart of Uptown Normal! If you're looking to fly into Chicago and aren't interested in a car rental, you can take a train from Union Station in Chicago straight to Bloomington-Normal. Once here, you can easily access Uber and Lyft. Train ride times vary depending on stops, but it is approximately a 2 hour train ride. If you're planning on using public transportation from O'Hare to Union Station, take the Blue line and exit at the Clinton stop. It is about a 5 minute walk to Union Station.
