Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is very lax. Please dress casually and comfortably. Some examples include slacks, jeans, chinos, button up shirts, polos and ties optional for gentlemen. Other examples include cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, jeans and a nice blouse for ladies. Please keep in mind the ceremony will be outside and on grass.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space at our venue, we have included plus ones on your initial invite. Unless otherwise specified, please refer to your initial invitation regarding plus ones. Thank you for your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have limited the amount of kids to only family and those who are in the wedding party.

When should I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website by August 31, 2024. If you are having any technological issues with the website, please reach out to the couple so you can reserve your spot to celebrate with us!

Can we leave our vehicles on the property?

Answer

Yes! Guests are allowed to leave their vehicle on the property until anytime Sunday. We want all our guests to drink responsibly and be safe which is why we’ve provided the shuttle service. Please use it, if needed at the end of the night. Thank you.

Will there be a shuttle service to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle will be provided. The shuttle will pick up guests at the hotel before the ceremony and drop guests off back at the hotel after the reception. The shuttle will be picking up and dropping off at the Holiday Inn Express Bloomington West where we have our room block. The hotel is located at 1031 Wylie Drive Bloomington, IL 61704. The shuttle will arrive at the hotel at 3:15pm to start loading guests. Shuttles to the venue will leave from the hotel at 3:30pm. At the end of the night, we will have multiple times to leave the venue and head back to the hotel where pick up was. The shuttles will leave the venue around 9:30pm, 10:00pm and 11:00pm. Food and alcohol are allowed on the shuttle. Please do your part in cleaning up after yourselves. Thank you!

Can we smoke on the property?

Answer

Yes, you can! We just ask that you step outside to the deck and grass area to smoke. Please also properly dispose of your trash. Thank you!

Will the ceremony and the reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! All events will take place at The Country Chapel located at 15479 Toepfer Street Tremont, IL 61568.

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a BBQ buffet style meal for everyone. If there are any dietary restrictions, please reach out to the couple.
