The perfect engagement to my favorite guy ever!!! Featuring the absolute best family in the world who made our engagement night even more special. LETS PARTY!!!

long time friends turned eventual lovers!!

it all started sometime during the summer of 2015

Many, many moons ago a young drunk dev was ending a night out after spending it at the bars on Bardstown road by going on my own personal side quest to Kroger to pick up quite literally anything that I could get my hands on to eat. In typical fashion I was set on being totally fine to go by myself, but due to some encouragement and hey go keep her safe (shoutout to those back at the house) Ryan Glass enters the picture and was tasked with accompanying me on this journey. From that night on we would run into each other at the bars, and luckily for me he kept magically showing up at a handful of Bellarmine house parties (shoutout em & mike). We became friends fast and thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company, but just like most college relationships the real world quickly approached and we went our separate ways for a few years. *fast forward to November 14th 2020* arguably one of the only good things to come out of this awful year besides a new president, was Cait and Nate’s wedding!!!! I was a bridesmaid in their wedding, and while I was standing up at the alter and looked out to everyone in their masks, there sat Ryan with Caits cousin, Whitney. Last minute, Ryan was asked to come as a plus one since one of the girls dates cancelled. I know Louisville is small, but this was one of those how’d you end up here moments. We caught up at the ceremony and it certainly felt like no time had passed since the last time we saw each other, we drank and danced and had the best evening together. But due to a bit too much wine my night ended at the hotel and not anywhere else. We parted ways that night and Ryan had texted me saying that we should get dinner and in my drunken slumber I just didn’t respond 🫠 *fast forward a WHOLE year from that night* Ryan is out celebrating his best friends 30th birthday and I’m over at Caits house, again enjoying copious amounts of white wine and games, and in comes a Snapchat from Ryan Glass (mind you this man hardly uses any social media) and it was just a picture of a party room, and in that moment I finally responded to his dinner request a year after he asked with a resounding “is this still on the table?” and luckily for me, Ryan agreed to dinner. From then we started seeing each other more and more, he joined me at one of my million weddings and at one of them in 2023 one of my dearest friends, Jillian said “my guy WHAT are we doing here you have got to make it official” and the rest is history as we got engaged August 24th, 2025 and it was just absolute perfection. There’s a lot more I could say, but I’ll save that for the wedding day 😉 I can’t wait for forever with G and we’re so excited to celebrate with everyone. WOOOOHOOOO!! Cheers to the future Glass’s!
