While we absolutely adore your little ones, this wedding celebration will be adults-only. Our resort is an adults-only property, and we’re intentionally planning this trip as a relaxed and meaningful getaway for our guests. We completely understand that traveling without children isn’t possible for everyone, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support. Because our boys, Abram and Owen, are such a huge part of our hearts and our story, we’ll be sharing a separate intimate “family marriage” ceremony with them the week before we leave for Mexico. Having that special moment together as a family means the world to us and gives us the opportunity to celebrate this next chapter with them in a deeply personal way before our vacation wedding celebration begins. We hope this trip feels like a chance for everyone to slow down, reconnect, enjoy some sunshine, make memories together, and celebrate this exciting season with us.
To receive our group rates and be included in the wedding room block, please book through our travel agent, Meg Thacker, at (904) 612-1429 (text preferred). Her services are completely free, and she can assist with accommodations, optional flights, airport transportation, and any other travel details. Please mention you're with the Lawrence & Washburn wedding group. A $100 deposit per room is all that's needed to reserve your stay, with final payment not due until March 18, 2027. Since the resort is already filling up, we encourage anyone seriously considering the trip to reserve early to secure availability. Please note that reservations made directly through the hotel or third-party travel websites cannot be added to our wedding group and are not eligible for our discounted group rates.
We’d love for everyone to make the trip their own. Come just for the wedding, turn it into a long weekend, or stay for a full vacation — whatever works best for your schedule and budget. Because the wedding is on Monday, April 19, 2027, we recommend arriving Saturday to settle in, relax, and enjoy a little vacation time before the festivities begin.
Yes. A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. We recommend checking your expiration date early, as some airlines require passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
Yes — all wedding events will take place at the resort, and guests will need to stay on property in order to attend. We’re excited to make this feel like a fun getaway weekend together, and staying at the resort will allow everyone to fully enjoy the celebration and experience.

Transportation details between the airport and resort will be shared once travel arrangements are finalized.
Think elevated vacation attire. We want everyone to feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready for sunshine, celebration, and a beautiful evening together. Please note that some resort restaurants may require specific dress codes for dinner service, such as long pants or closed-toe shoes for men, so we recommend checking resort guidelines when packing.
Absolutely. One of the reasons we chose a destination wedding was to create more time to relax, connect, and enjoy all the amazing excursions and experiences the area has to offer. . For additional excursions, adventures, and off-resort activities, guests can browse the resort’s recommended experiences through Amstar Excursions & Activities. From catamaran cruises and snorkeling trips to cenotes, eco parks, ruins, and private tours, there are options for both adventure and relaxation.
We completely understand. We know destination weddings aren’t possible for everyone, and there is absolutely no pressure or expectation. Your love and support mean so much to us no matter what.
