Maid of Honor
Pardis and Samantha first met on Halloween night when Pardis heard someone call out to her, saying, "Pardis, do you want some candy?" While Pardis was reluctant to take candy from this stranger [who happened to be in three of the same classes as her at the time], she agreed. From there, they've been the closest of friends. During college, they studied late into the night together, worked on assignments together, and supported each other. After college, they've kept in touch every week and gone on trips together. Pardis has been with Samantha through thick and thin and Samantha is so excited to plan the wedding with her.
Best Man
Trent met David an eternity ago in high school. They were instantly banded together for the love of hobbies, free running, and general mischief of the common teenager. Trent has always helped David through whatever was bothering him, and David has done more than Trent could ever pay back including taking him in when he had nowhere to go. Even all the way across the country these two have stayed in regular contact, playing games, venting about life, and celebrating each other's victories. In Trent's words, "here’s to another victory Davey, and Trent will be there for the next… and the next…"

Lucy has always been like a grandmother to Samantha. Ever since Samantha can remember, she has seen Lucy every Sabbath at their church. Whenever Lucy sees Samantha, her eyes light up and she rushes to take Samantha’s hand and tell her, “I love you too much.” Lucy has always supported Samantha, and Samantha cannot imagine a better person to be by her side and support her on this new journey.
Groomsman
Langston and David met 7 or 8 years ago - no one is really sure anymore - and in that time have played and written many games, building and collaborating together. They’ve built a friendship lasting so long they’ve gotten to the point where they can't agree on what they haven’t been together for. They’re both certain the other will be there. Langston is so excited for the wedding and to celebrate David and Sam’s future, and so thankful to be part of it.

Once upon a time, there was an obscure little-known place in the land known as SFO, a place where Jeffrey was employed against his will. After a number of consecutively cloudy and dreary days, the manifestation of sunlight appeared, a being colloquially known by many as "David." This chance meeting brought about through employed proximity has turned into a lasting friendship through shared interest of card games, good humor, and mutual disdain for the myriad of work problems. As Jeffrey has thought, David always truly is good company.

For most of the time Samantha dated David, he lived at Denise's house with Denise (part time) and Holly. Since Samantha spent most of the time at his place, she got to know Holly well. They had a lot of good times watching tv together, discussing the crazy people they saw on reality tv, and talking about office problems. Samantha remembers that early on, Holly expressed how David should make sure to keep Samantha since she was the best girlfriend he's ever had. It was funny at the time, but it went to show how much Holly appreciated Samantha and David's relationship and how she supported them. Samantha is excited to be even closer to Holly now, and to get to celebrate together with her knowing that he did get to "keep her" after all this time.

Jonah, Bre, and David met via Bre’s search for her first DnD game, and they knew upon meeting David that it would be not only the start of a fantastic game, but a lovely and meaningful friendship. Early on, it was obvious to everyone in the gaming group how infatuated David was with his then girlfriend – Sam – as he spoke endlessly about every adorable trait she possesses. When David confided in their group that he had chosen Sam’s engagement ring, it was an inevitable and joyful announcement to everyone. Bre and Jonah are excited to continue their friendship with David, and are both elated and grateful to be a part of the celebration of his love with Sam.

Stephanie is the older sibling, so she has been with Samantha for Samantha's whole life. Though they fight - like all siblings do - they both can still rely on the other if there's ever a problem. Samantha has always gone to Stephanie with her concerns, and Stephanie would always listen and give advice - even if it was extremely late at night. Stephanie has always been supportive of Samantha’s relationship with David, even joking one time that “she decided Samantha can keep David.” Stephanie has taken to treating David like a new sibling, looking after him where she can. Samantha looks forward to working with Stephanie on the invitations, the slide decks, the website, and more for the wedding.
Junior Bridesmaid
Sophia is one of Samantha's best friends within her family. Samantha doesn't see her cousin very often, but it's always a great time when she does get to visit! Sophia's always been a lot of fun and really funny. Samantha's looking forward to singing, dancing, and laughing with Sophia, while getting ready for the wedding.
Mother of the Groom
Denise has always looked after her pack/family, and I’ve been very fortunate to be included in that group. She welcomed me into her house, has been a voice of reason, and a source of joy and comfort. Denise has been very supportive of my and Sam’s relationship, and I look forward to celebrating with her.
Father of the Groom
For as long as I can remember, my dad has been constantly rooting for me and doing whatever it took to raise me. He’s definitely had the greatest influence in who I am, and I wouldn’t be who I am now without him.
Mother of the Bride
Connie is the hardest working person you will ever meet. She will run herself to the ground to help others, and even then she would keep helping if someone asked for her help. Even now, no matter how tired my mom is, she will go out of her way to take tasks off my plate. My mom has been very excited to help plan my wedding, and has spent many hours to make this event successful. I'm extremely proud to have her as my mom, and I am only successful due to her sacrifices and consistent hard work. She's held two jobs for my whole life, would work 16 hour days some days, and still always found time to make sure I made it to any event I wanted. She was dubbed "Super Mom" one year at my elementary school, and the description could never be more true. I love you, Mom, and I'm so glad that you are here to support me in everything I do.
Father of the Bride
My dad is the kind of person who will silently do things to help. He goes out of his way to help me with tasks, make sure the technology in our house is up-to-date, and even manage a hot tub he wishes we didn't have. He worked late hours to make sure we had enough money to do anything we wanted and go anywhere we wanted. We got to travel to many places during my childhood that people dream of going to in their lifetime because of his hard work. Thank you for giving me a wonderful life and continuing to support me daily.
Godmother
Ranee is the most loving and generous aunt. Samantha spent many summers in Ranee’s house throughout her childhood. Ranee would make sure Samantha was having fun while her mom and uncle Clyde worked on their rental business. Samantha and Ranee have had many fun times at the annual county fair, swimming at the water parks, going to see the fireworks, eating at restaurants, and going to the movies. As Samantha became a teenager, Ranee - being very beautiful and elegant herself - took on the role of taking Samantha shopping for clothes and helping Samantha find her sense of style. In addition to being very generous with her time, Ranee has always gone above and beyond to provide Samantha with amazing gifts from around the world. Years before Samantha even knew what Prom was, Ranee bought her an amazing Prom dress that she eventually wore to her high school prom. You never had to ask Ranee to buy something; she was already thinking about you and getting it. Samantha was very lucky and honored that Ranee flew out to help her choose her veil, caterer, and venue. Samantha is happy that she has Ranee's continual help planning her wedding.

Clyde, lovingly nicknamed "Uncle Grouchy," worked long hours on Samantha's family's rental houses, which eventually paid for Samantha's education and first car. However, he always found time to have nightly dinners with Samantha. Samantha has also learned many useful skills from Clyde: he taught her to ride horses, paint houses, and even tried to teach her to fish. One time, Samantha wanted to practice her new skills, and was found painting a screen door at one of her mom’s and Clyde’s rental houses. Needless to say, Samantha was a very naughty and independent child; and, though Clyde would never complain, he would often remark, “We all wish we could be Samantha.” Samantha is thankful for all Clyde has done to help her and her family throughout the years.
Godmother
Merle Ann is the kind of aunt everybody should have. She makes it her mission in life to support Samantha and make sure she is always having fun. Samantha once said there were no hills in Nebraska so Merle Ann took her on a drive through the hills. They had ice cream in three different towns that day! Interestingly, Samantha looked more like Merle Ann than her mom as a child. As previously mentioned, Samantha was a very naughty child who often got in trouble while vacationing. At these moments, her mom was happy to let passerby's think Merle Ann was Samantha's mom. Samantha is glad that Merle Ann could help her pick out her veil, caterer, and venue. Merle Ann is Samantha's support whenever she has worries or problems in life. So, thank you, Merle Ann, as Samantha couldn’t have gotten where she is without you!
Godfather
Edwin has always been a fun-loving uncle, often teasing and pulling pranks like tricking Samantha into thinking that the little balls in tapioca pudding were frog eggs; but, he would always watch out for Samantha when she was getting into mischief. Once on a beach in Hawaii, he warned Samantha that she better leave those baby chicks alone or the mother chick was going to get mad. Unfortunately, Samantha didn’t listen…and he was right. Samantha crawled under a bathroom stall where her mother was, looked under the stall for the mother hen, and said “if I can crawl under that stall, so can a chicken,” much to the confusion of her Mom and Aunt Merle Ann. Despite their mutual penchant for mischief, Samantha is very glad for all the wonderful adventures they shared and continue to share.
