Is the event kid-friendly?

Answer

Although we love your children, this is an adults-only event. There ARE exceptions for children taking part in the ceremony, and for specifically invited relatives of the bride and groom. Regardless, due to the open bar and venue space the wedding will be entirely kid-free after the dinner concludes.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and a personalized menu of liquor drinks. Please consider tipping your bartender!

What's the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests arrive in semi-formal cocktail attire, with dress boots and dark wash jeans also accepted. The bridal party will be dressed in sage green and dark grey.

What's the venue like?

Answer

The venue is a covered, open air barn surrounded by trees and against an open prairie. There are onsite bathrooms, a fire pit and heat towers. There is also a full parking lot that staff will guide you to day-of.

How's the weather up there?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at the start of fall in western North Carolina. The temperature lows will be in the mid 50's and the highs in the mid 70's. Perfect fire pit weather!
