Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We don't have a traditional wedding registry, as we've been living together and building a life together since 2021 and don't need more stuff! Please feel free to contribute to our honeymoon fund, or to a cause that's near and dear to our hearts instead!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear what makes you feel good! That could be anything! It is a state park, and we'll be partying in grass, on sand, partially indoors, and mostly outdoors. We would recommend leaving the Loubitons at home.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We'd rather you leave the kids with the grandparents! Come party with us unencumbered!

Yeah, kinda! We call it "Schrodinger's Relationship," in that we're partners, boyfriend/girlfriend, spouses, and fiancee's...we eloped in 2022, and decided to give ourselves 5 years to throw a big ol' party for ourselves!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We're hoping that people will carpool, as it's a roughly 40 minute drive away from New Orleans. To that end, if you are in need of a ride, or have extra room in your car for some old or new friends, please get in touch!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

It's gonna be a DIY wedding, so we're going to build the whole thing the day/night before, and hang out with whoever wants in the park, bump some jams, boil some crawfish (season permitting), and have a pre-party party! Join us if you can! For those staying over at the park, we'll have breakfast the morning of the wedding and the morning after!

What's lodging like at the park?

Answer

There's a bunch of cabins, each with room for roughly 8 people, and there are 2 large dormitories with room for 100 people in bunk beds. All come with full bathrooms and showers.
