Our first date was at Gomez Salsa in Cincinnati in July 2018, over margaritas and tacos. Jack ordered guacamole and Amanda (who dislikes avocado) pretended to enjoy it. We've had many adventures since then, including some of our favorite things - happy hours, bar trivia, movie nights, and traveling. Jack proposed, just the two of us, in September 2023. We went back to Gomez Salsa to recreate our first date, as we'd done many times throughout our five years together. After three years of long-distance, we are finally reunited in our new home in Northville, MI. We are excited to settle into our new jobs, Amanda as a neonatologist at the University of Michigan and Jack as a defense attorney with the Neighborhood Defender Service in Detroit. We are so thankful for all of the times we have shared with you along the way and cannot wait for the years to come!
