Nicollet Island
During college, this was our walking and picnic spot! It felt like home in a big, busy city. Famous for its fall foliage and grounds for one of Kendra's favorite venues, Nicollet Island Pavilion! Nicollet Island, on the Mississippi River, has a tranquil small-town vibe, with well-kept Victorian houses and waterside paths that offer views of the skyline and St. Anthony Falls Dam. Nicollet Island Park includes an amphitheater and a pavilion used for concerts. The limestone Nicollet Island Inn, a former door factory, and the huge 1941 Grain Belt Beer sign, are local landmarks.
Minnehaha Falls
We took a nice stroll here to celebrate our third anniversary! Minnehaha Park is a city park in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, and home to Minnehaha Falls and the lower reaches of Minnehaha Creek.
Patina | Roseville
You could usually find Kendra and her bridesmaids here during the college years! Patina is a specialty purveyor known for selling a mix of home decor, jewelry, fragrance, stationery, gifts and toys in an inspiring and ever-changing environment.
Mall of America®
Multiple trips were taken to shop until we dropped and meet up with friends for lunch! An iconic shopping spot. Do we need to say any more?

We've only been here once but it was a special space for us to catch up with a few of our UMN favorites! Thoughtfully crafted cocktails paired with exceptional sushi offerings, in an artfully intimate setting.
The Burrow | Oakdale
A great game and food spot we've enjoyed with family and friends since high school. The Burrow is a Minnesotan gaming den and community watering hole for friends, families and neighbors. Tuck in to hand-tossed pizza, local beers and burgers or get together for axe-throwing, mini golf, sports simulators and so much more at our two locations Oakdale or Victoria!
