Things To Do

Boston holds a special place in our hearts because it's the city that brought us together! There is no shortage of activities to fill your time here, but if you're looking for some recommendations, we've put together a George and Courtney Storybook Tour of Boston! This will take you to all the spots that we loved on our journey together.

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England

514 Parker Street, Boston, MA 02120

This is where Courtney and George met for the first time, at the Boston Byzantine Choir's spring concert. It is usually closed outside of service times, but if you can catch it when it's open, it is beautiful inside!

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

465 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115

The location of our first museum date together!

View Boston

800 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02199

This is the observation deck on the 52nd floor of Prudential Tower, where we had our first date! It has beautiful panoramic views of the city, interactive exhibits, and a restaurant and bar.

Boston Common

139 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02111

This was the first public park in the United States! We spent many afternoons here walking around and enjoying nature. The leaves are breathtaking in the fall, especially around the Public Garden Foot Bridge.

La Summa

30 Fleet Street, Boston, MA 02113

One of the few Italian spots in the North End (Boston's Little Italy) where you can get in on the weekend without a reservation. George swears that Gran Gusto in Cambridge has better food, but you can't beat the atmosphere of the North End!

Harvard Yard

2 Kirkland Street, Cambridge, MA 02138

We spent a lot of time studying here while Courtney was a student at Harvard. Highlights include Widener Library, Memorial Hall, and the John Harvard statue. Note of caution-- don't touch John Harvard's foot, even if you see tourists doing it...).

Harvard Art Museum

32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA 02138

This is a fabulous FREE art museum with a huge variety of art to enjoy. We went here for many dates and always loved it!

Luxor Cafe

148 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02138

Check out this sweet Egyptian cafe in Harvard Square! Be sure to visit the cozy lounge downstairs.
