A lot of you probably already know how we ended up here, but for those who don’t, let us take you back to the beginning! Scott and I knew of each other in high school, but our paths didn’t cross much back then. I knew him as the “Wild Waltz brother” (that’s a story for another time) and the little brother of Chris, who I actually had classes with. We ran in the same circle of friends, but it’s funny how sometimes you can be so close to someone yet never really meet. Our lives never really overlapped… until 2019. One day, I got a “Someone you might know” suggestion on Facebook. It was Scott. I sent friend request, and after he accepted, he waited about two days before sending a message. It was simple: “Hello! I know your face, where do I know you from?” He knew me as Tiffany Somerville, but the name Cashion threw him off. We laughed about it, and I’m sure he thought, “Wait… that’s her?” From there, everything just clicked. We started talking non-stop. Honestly, it felt like we had known each other for years. Every day, without fail, we were texting or calling. We talked about everything—our hopes, our fears, our favorite music, the weird things we remembered from childhood, all the ups and downs life threw our way. We leaned on each other through some tough personal stuff, and it was like we had always been meant to be in each other’s lives. We even started playing Xbox together—yes, while playing Call of Duty! We’d be talking through the headsets, laughing, and playing games, and I’ll admit, it was the perfect way to spend hours together. And then, enter little Brynlee Skye. This little gaming prodigy, all of six years old, came into the mix. That sweet, innocent voice would come through the headphones, always blaming Scott for stealing her kills. But in reality, Scott was just saving her virtual life! The way she’d shout, “Hey! You stole my kill!” had Scott laughing, but little did he know, at that moment, his heart was already taken. I don’t think either of us saw it coming, but over time, it became clear: this wasn’t just friendship. It was something more. Then, one day, it just clicked. We were sitting there talking, and we both realized, this is it. That was the moment we knew: we weren’t just best friends anymore; we were in love. From then on, we’ve been inseparable. We’ve built this amazing life together, supporting each other through everything. And then, the best surprise of all—Maisy Jane! She came into our lives and made our little family complete. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate our big day with all of you—our friends, our family, the people who have been there for us through it all. We can’t wait to make more memories with all of you, starting with this next big chapter in our lives. Here’s to love, laughter, and the beautiful journey ahead!
