We ask all of our guests to be at least two weeks post-COVID vaccination if you plan to attend. We understand that vaccination is a personal decision and we respect if you have decided to delay or decline your vaccination. If that is the case, we ask that you celebrate us from afar. We feel this is the best way to continue to keep our family, friends, and community safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We are happy to discuss.
The reception venue doesn't open their doors until 6:00pm, but that doesn't mean you can't get to Glen Island early and enjoy the park! Look across the water for the NYAC boathouse, where we first met and where Dave eventually proposed.
If you're coming from out of town and have some extra time in the area, the New York Botanical Gardens should be pretty spectacular around this time of year!
Where we had our first date, and where we've ordered some of our best quarantine takeout from. Get the firecracker shrimp. Meg will eat them if you don't want yours.
One of our go-to spots; you can't go wrong, but our usuals are the chimichanga, enchilada platter, and - of course - chips, salsa, and guac in obscene quantities.
Up for a long walk on the beach? Orchard Beach is a great place to catch some sun, or - as we learned in 2020 - take a socially-distant walk with people you love.
If you're in town a few days early, pop by for a drop in at the bride's very favorite place! Bonus points if you see her there and remind her not to self-inflict any bruises days before she walks down the aisle.
