At the beginning of Kayla’s senior year at the University of North Alabama she started attending Wood Avenue Church of Christ. Soon after getting to know some of the people at church she was invited to Luke Hinkle’s (groomsman) birthday party at Tyler Senn’s (groomsman) house. Josh sat down across from Kayla on a broken futon outside of Tyler’s house and introduced himself. The rest is history.

After being friends for over a year, we finally went on our first date at El Pollito Loco. Josh was so nervous that he ate sunflower seeds on the way to there. He spit the shells out and put them on his leg. He is quite the romantic.

After several dates and time spent together, we were officially dating!

Josh asked Kayla at McFarland Park and she said “yes!”
