There is a shuttle from the airport to the resort. The cost is $18 per person each way for the group shuttle. $25 per person each way for a personal shuttle. Shuttle

Shuttle from the ferry to the resort

June 20, 2026 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

A shuttle will be running from the ferry to the Viva Fortuna upon arrival to the Bahamas at noon for $35 per person. It will also take you back to the ferry on the 23rd for the same price for the 6:30pm ferry. Get there early. The shuttle will pick us up at 4:00pm for the return to the ferry from the resort. You don't want to miss it. It only travels at these times and only on Tuesdays and Saturdays!!!

The reservations can be to be made through the Balearia Caribbean Ferry. If you would like, Amy can make reservations for you. Try the discount code from Zola. SAVE50 Rates are subject to change, but these are the most up to date as of February 2026 for the dates of June 20th to the 23rd, 2026 for the economy ferry ticket and Superior Garden room at the Viva. (The ferry also travels round trip from the 20th to the 27th if you are interested) There is also a Premium Ferry rate for an additional fee. The following price includes the ferry ride round trip and the Viva Wyndham Resort Superior Garden room. Insurance is optional!!! AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THESE PRICES!!! That can be booked through Amy also. The ferry leaves from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale at 9:00am and arrives in the Bahamas at 12:00pm on June 20th. The ferry returns on June 23rd at 6:30pm and arrives at Port Everglades at approximately 9:30pm. The ferry only runs at those times, and only on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Luggage is included.
