A longtime friend of Walter's since high school. Craig lives in Brooklyn Park MN with his wife Lisa and has two sons, Logan and Brendan, plus a granddaughter, Opal. He works as an Art teacher at Jackson High School in Champlin MN. Walter is a God parent to his son Brendan.
Bruce Hill
Groomsman
A childhood friend and classmate of Walter's since kindergarten. They were teammates on the Cross Country and Track teams throughout High School and Graduated together in 1985. Bruce lives in Cottage Grove with his wife Kim and is the father of four children, Tyler, Paige, Brett and Bailey and has two grandchildren, Wesley and Kaylee. Bruce owns his own company, Hill Financial as a Financial Advisor and has been Wally's advisor for years.
Dylan Lang
Groomsman
Walter's youngest nephew and the son of his oldest sister, Jackie Lang. Dylan lives in Rio Rancho NM with his wife Dena and is a proud father to his daughter, Emlyn. He is currently the Community Manager at Via Vista Apts in NM. Walter is Dylan's Godfather.
Greg Weiss
Groomsman
A good friend and longtime neighbor of Walter's. Greg lives in Golden Valley with his wife Cheryl, who graduated with his sister Joyce. As a combined family they have 6 children and 16 grandchildren. Greg worked at Zeiss Technology as a controller in Maple Grove MN for several years and recently retired. Walter and Greg were shooting league partners at Target Sports in Rogers MN for many years and enjoyed numerous trips together going to outdoor shows and sporting events.
Tony Schram

Tony is married to Walter's niece Nikki and lives in Hibbing MN with their children, Jaxen and Charleigh. He enjoys the outdoors and is very creative and handy at many things. He can be quite comical and knows how to entertain everyone with his witty antics.
Norma Macdonald-Ockwig
Matron of Honor
Kim's Aunt, who is married to her Uncle Russ and a big inspiration in her life. She has two stepdaughters, Carissa and Sara and 4 grandchildren, Olivia, Hudson, Wyatt and Bobby. Norma helped reunite Kim with her mother's family after more than 25 years. She has been a huge support while Kim was going through her cancer treatment. Norma could see how happy Kim and Walter were together and always knew he would pop the question!
Melanie Troumbly

Kim's eldest daughter. Melanie lives in Coleraine MN with her husband Cory and is the mother of two sons, Aksel and Graysen. She currently works at Northland Counseling Center in Grand Rapids MN as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Brittany Presley
Bridesmaid
Kim's youngest daughter. Brittany lives in Bovey MN with her husband Cody and her 3 yr. old twins, Henry and Paisley. She is the Member Experience Manager and Fitness Instructor at Anytime Fitness Center in Grand Rapids MN.
Tammy Newman

A good friend of Kim's and former coworker. Tammy lives in Grand Rapids MN with her partner Tony. She has two children a son, Blaze, a daughter Bailey and a granddaughter. She works at Forest Lake Restaurant in Grand Rapids as a waitress.
Rick Kriesel
Usher
Kim's youngest brother. Rick lives in Plymouth MN and has two daughters, Yvonne and Isabelle. He is a former Marine and works as an immigration officer in Minneapolis MN.
Kenneth Kriesel
Father of the Bride
Ken lives in Motely MN where he lived with his wife Maria of 40 years, who he sadly lost on April 20th, 2022, due to many health issues. He is the father of 5 children, Diane, Dennis, Gary, Kim, Rick and 3 stepchildren, Paula, Tina and Neil. Regretfully, his son Gary passed away due to an automobile accident in 1998 and his stepdaughter Paula to brain cancer in 2019. Ken retired in 2004 as a Diesel Mechanic at Peterbilt Ford in Minneapolis MN. Like his daughter, he is a cancer survivor and is happy to be here to walk her down the aisle.
Wendy Mainerich

Wendy is Walter's twin sister and a classmate to the bride and groom. She is married to Dan Maclean and has a stepdaughter, Morgan. They decided to move back to Chisholm in 2019 and purchased the family home where she grew up in. Wendy works as a travel planner and has traveled all over the world and helps create destination packages for families to enjoy their vacation.
Henry Presley

Kim's 3 1/2 yr. old grandson. Henry is the twin brother to Paisley. A boy that looks out for his sissy and loves to laugh and smile.
Paisley Presley
Flower Girl
Kim's 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter. Paisley loves to dress up as Anna from the Frozen. She loves to sing and dance and lets Henry know who's the boss.
Pastor Bradley Felix
Officiant
The current and very enthusiastic Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Chisholm MN. Pastor Brad was also the officiant at Walter's dad funeral in 2017. Grace Lutheran is the Church where Walter's family attended while he was growing up. The Mainerich family has a long history as members of this Church, therefore this is where Walter and Kim decided to exchange their vows.
