It all started when we worked for the same company, everyone's favorite hockey team, the Vegas Golden Knights. Although we worked for the same company, we rarely saw each other because we were in different offices. It was at the annual "Hockey & Sake" party, the night before American Thanksgiving, that we finally hit it off and spent some quality time together. Two dogs later, we've been inseparable ever since!

Given our busy work schedule, family back East, and lots of lots of weddings, it was challenging for the two of us to ever take a vacation just for ourselves. When we finally did, we decided about two weeks before to go to Kauai, Hawaii (which in our opinion is THE best place to go in Hawaii). Our flight was delayed getting to the island and little did Brittany know that Dustin had planned on proposing the night we got on island over a sunset dinner. Nevertheless, the next morning at around 7am we decided to take a walk at our hotel and Dustin found the most perfect location to propose on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and perfect is definitely an understatement! We spent the rest of the trip enjoying each others company more than ever and celebrating!
