What is our wedding's dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Formal Garden Party Attire Think elegant and elevated with a seasonal twist. Pastels are encouraged but not required. Lightweight suits, flowy long dresses, and dressy separates are all welcome. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on grass, so we recommend comfortable shoes. Most importantly though, we want you to wear what makes you feel your best!

Where is our venue?

Answer

Our Ceremony, Happy Hour, and Reception will all be held at the same venue: Curtis Arboretum. Curtis is located at 1250 Church Rd., Wyncote, PA 19095.

Is there parking available at our venue?

Answer

Yes! Our venue has free on-site parking. Curtis Arboretum has a large parking lot located off Church Rd. in front of the Hall.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors.

Answer

Weather permitting, our wedding will be outside on the lawn. Happy hour will follow on the gravel terrace. The reception will be indoors. For this reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Are plus-ones allowed?

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out!

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Have we reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotel?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Marriott Philadelphia West. Please book your stay by Friday, May 15th 2026 to guarantee a room in our block. Mention the Walsh Lizza wedding while booking to receive our reduced rate.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! We want our guests staying overnight to relax and enjoy themselves so we will be providing a shuttle service. Please notify us if you will be using the shuttle when you RSVP.
