Cocktail Attire: Note that if all goes according to plan, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be located outside on the grass, and the reception will be indoors in a climate-controlled setting. Please dress accordingly.
Yes! We want you to enjoy yourselves and drink and dance the night away! We will have shuttle busses pick you up to bring you to Bearsville Theater before the ceremony, and they will bring you home after the reception or after party has ended. If you are interested in taking our shuttle, there will be a place for you to note this on the RSVP page.
Yes, plenty!
Our ceremony begins at 4pm so please arrive around that time. If you happen to arrive a bit early, take a trip through the interpretive "woodland walkway," which is decorated with plaques dedicated to renowned musicians from Albert Grossman's record label.
Bearsville Theater was created in 1970 by Albert Grossman, a man who has represented some very well-known musicians such as Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, and The Band. One band in particular, Key Largo, spent time recording at the studio at Bearsville. The legendary Ronnie Lawson was one of the members of this band. Ronnie went on to marry a hippy woman named Debbie. They raised a VERY handsome and intelligent son named Dylan, named after Bob Dylan. Dylan met Lexi and both decided to get married. In searching for the right venue, they discovered the historical significance of this very place.
