Question

Are there precautions we need to be aware of?

Answer

We are hosting a smaller wedding than we had planned. Cases in Natrona County remain relatively minimal, but we still want to work to be smart and safe. Please don't feel remotely weird about wearing a mask! Rachel and Andrew will be wearing them for receiving line after the ceremony and various parts of the day! For our receiving line we are only going to give hugs to people who actively go in for one. DON'T feel bad if you'd prefer no physical contact! We are additionally going to have hand sanitizer with over 70% alcohol... just.... everywhere. We continue thinking ahead about how to creatively make our wedding as fun and safe as possible!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying with the Ramkota they can supply a shuttle for you. Just make sure to touch base with them about logistics. Otherwise, do chat with somebody who has a car about carpooling (a lot of people are driving), and Uber and Lyft are popular options in Casper!

How Do I Get to the Venue?

Answer

For the ceremony: Put "Central Wyoming Fair" in Google Maps and it'll take you just about there! Just keep following Fairgrounds Road (enter, past the main gate), pass the Arena building on the right, and go all the way until you hit the old Sheriff Office. The church will be to the right. It has an unmistakable red door and shutters and there is parking right in front. Google maps will take you directly to the Nicolaysen Art Museum for our reception!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 4! Arrive up to thirty minutes before to enjoy the grounds and claim your seat.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids+Art+Alcohol in one location PROBABLY make for a horrible equation, so we're just gonna be safe and say unless we've made preexisting agreements, no little kiddoes please.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail-Cozy/Semi-formal! Cocktail-style outfits, but with consideration to layers and comfort, since it's September in Wyoming (usually a comfortable 68 degrees, but nights can get chilly). We'll be mostly indoors, but the Nic has pretty grounds and a patio where sweaters might be desired.

We're coming from out of town! Where should we stay?

Answer

We've blocked rooms at the Ramkota Hotel! However, there are a LOT of hotel options in Casper, so feel free to browse around for something that suits your taste and budget. See our "travel" tab for details and suggestions.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Preferably by September 1st! We've gotta get final counts to vendors!

Is there free parking for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Yes to both! The church has parking in front/around the fairgrounds, and the Nicolaysen has a parking lot with plenty of spaces/nearby downtown lots.

Open bar or nah?

Answer

We are supplying a couple of cases of beer, compliments of us! When that runs out, or if you'd like something more/fancier, cash bar!
