Precautions

Safety First!

After trimming our numbers and monitoring the situation in Wyoming, we are still planning to go ahead with a smaller wedding than we had planned. Cases in Natrona County remain relatively minimal, but we still want to work to be smart and safe. Please don't feel remotely weird about wearing a mask! Rachel and Andrew will be wearing them for receiving line after the ceremony and various parts of the day! For our receiving line we are only going to give hugs to people who actively go in for one. DON'T feel bad if you'd prefer no physical contact! We are additionally going to have hand sanitizer with over 70% alcohol... just.... everywhere. We continue thinking ahead about how to creatively make our wedding as fun, safe, and comfortable for everyone as possible!

How Andrew and Rachel Met

One wedding... leads to another wedding...

Our paths crossed many times over the years, but we officially met, talked, and felt undeniable sparks at a September wedding. Both of us were in the wedding party (shout-out to Hannah and Josh!) and both of us arrived a few nights early to help set up. We started talking while hefting log benches around... and just never stopped talking... After the wedding, the immediate best-friendship didn't take long to become a lot more. Andrew drove three hours to take Rachel on a date. They pretty much did a Greeley food tour, listened to CDs in his car, and danced around her living room to Elvis. The rest is history.

The Proposal(s)

The question is popped... more than once...

Rachel proposed first. She found a (slick, black, beautiful) Superman ring at Comic-Con, and thought, "This feels like good proposing weather." She popped the question while her dear friend (shout-out to Amber!) filmed the whole thing and giggled a lot. Andrew said yes. _ Andrew had been saving for a lock-it-down gift himself. On Rachel's birthday he roped her dear friend (shout-out to Kristy!) into photographing, took Rachel to the Garden Creek waterfall, and proposed back.

The Wedding

We're so excited to party with you! We really want this weekend to be a time of fun and relaxation for you too. Make sure to check out some of the many things to do in Casper and if you're in town early, come to our rehearsal dessert the night before the wedding. The ceremony will be at a historic non-denominational chapel (Andrew's dad will officiate!) and the reception will be at a gorgeous art museum with space for dancing.
