For those who would like to join us for Oysterfest, it will be best to get to the Cape Saturday morning (if not Friday night) to head to the festival around 10:00 am. For those who prefer to just meet us at the Saturday night reception, we recommend arriving on the Cape Saturday mid-afternoon. Check-in at Inn on the Square is 4:00 PM, but feel free to leave your bags with the front desk.
Saturday: casual, Sunday: semi-formal. The Popponessett Inn has a permanent, heated tent with adjustable sides. If the weather is nice, we will plan to have the sides open for the ceremony and/or reception.
Although we hope for no rain, this time of year there can be a sprinkle here and there. Watch the weather, but it might be smart to pack an umbrella or rain coat for your ventures throughout the weekend. The wedding venue is completely covered and temperature-controlled. If you are coming to Oysterfest, bring the above but also a heavier sweatshirt or outer layer. It could feel frigid in the morning and then like a sauna in the afternoon - let yourself be versatile.
