Mount Helena Trail
The closest hike to the downtown Helena area is the Mount Helena trail overlooking the city of Helena. It is a moderate 2.9 mile hike.
Beaver Creek Hike
For an easy hike with incredible views try the Beaver Creek hike, located approximately 3 miles past Summer Star Ranch. The train ends at the dam but you can stop and turn around anytime you’d like.
Refrigerator Canyon Trail
For a moderate/slightly difficult trail try Refrigerator Canyon. WHEN HIKING THIS TRAIL YOU MUST BRING BEAR SPRAY!!! (available at the local sporting goods stores).
