Enjoy one (or several) of Winston Salem's Breweries or bars! Some of our favorite breweries include Wiseman Brewery, Joymongers, Fiddlin' Fish, Foothills, Hoots and Incendiary. If you are looking for a mixed drink, check out Single Brothers, Vintage Sofa Bar, Bar Pina, Tate's, Earl's, Fair Witness or Joyners. Several are walk-able, so make your own bar crawl!

Think petting zoo meets a vineyard! Great activity for all ages. Taste wine, explore the vineyard and visit the llamas.

Get Outdoors
Enjoy North Carolina's beauty by getting outdoor for a walk or a hike. Hanging Rock or Pilot mountain offer several hikes and are about 30-60 mins from downtown WS. If you're looking to stay more local, go explore Bailey park, Graylyn Estate, Salem Lake or Reynolda Gardens!
Get Historic
Take a tour or wander around Old Salem. This historic district showcases the Moravian community that originally settled in WS in the mid-eighteenth century. They have a lovely farmers market on Saturdays from 9am-12pm.
