Here's what to expect:
All guests will park at the Essex Steam Train (1 Railroad Avenue, Essex, CT) and board the steam train at 2:45pm. The train will bring everyone directly to the wedding venue (The Lace Factory). It will not wait for late passengers! There are train cars reserved for the wedding and are separate from the general public.
Please do not park at the wedding venue unless you were given permission to do so. The on-site parking lot is very small and reserved for vendors needing the spaces. However, if you happen to miss the train, you may attempt to park at the venue if there are any spaces available.
The train leaves the station at 3:05pm and arrives at the venue around 3:20pm. The train will also bring all guests back to their cars at 9pm.
Ceremony begins at 3:30pm.
Cocktail hour in the courtyard at 4:00pm.
Dinner served at 5:30pm.
Dessert served at 6:45pm.
Special dances at 6:55pm.
Sparkler send-off at 8:45pm.
Board the train at 9pm back to the Essex Station.

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
The cocktail hour will be held in the courtyard following the ceremony. There will be a harvest grazing table, an open bar, as well as passed hors d'Oeuvres. Please let us know whether or not you will be attending by September 4th. Dinner and dessert will be served during the reception. All dinner options will be served with roasted garlic potatoes and seasonal roasted vegetables. Children under 10 will be served macaroni and cheese.
