Matron of Honor
Courtney is my sister, so you could say she's also my oldest friend. As the older sibling, she paved the way by getting through the "firsts" of everything, so I could learn what to do and what not to do (and also maybe how to get away with some things). She and Ryan gave me two of my favorite humans, Noah and Elliot, and are a constant source of advice and support. We've definitely been lucky to grow closer as we got older, supporting each other however we could from afar. She says that whenever someone asks her what I'm up to, she replies "I don't know, she's probably in some other country on the other side of the world"... and isn't that the dream! I couldn't be more thankful to have her on my side, and as my Matron of Honor.

Haley, better known as "Muffy" in my phone & everywhere if I'm being honest, has been one of my best friends since middle school. She joined my club gymnastics team and we never looked back! We stayed close through college and graduation, and I ended up convincing her to move to Seattle with me. We had one of the most memorable 2-year runs as roommates, living it up and adventuring around the world together - China, South Korea, Canada, Iceland, and all over mainland Europe. Even though she ditched me & moved back to Minnesota to get married and have 2 adorable kids, she's my Muffy forever! We also love posting the most ridiculous photos of each other, so it was hard for me to pick one that we both were smiling normally. HA

Rose and I met when I was on the gymnastics team at the University of Washington, and she and her little sister Mary attended every week, every year. She quickly became my adopted little sister, and we remained close even after graduation. Our bond was tested when she went to the dark side (aka Wazzu) for college, but we persevered! It's been amazing to see our relationship grow from little/big sister to an enduring friendship throughout the last 15 years, and to see Andrew and her husband Pierce form a close friendship of their own. We still stay very much involved with the gymnastics community - we attend UW meets every year, watch every SEC meet we can on TV, and we even convinced Andrew & Pierce (along with Muffy) to attend NCAA Gymnastics championships every year in Forth Worth, TX! It's become an awesome tradition we all love.

Haley was in my freshman class on the gymnastics team at the University of Washington, and we became fast friends. We have some core memories from surviving exhausting practices & 6am weights thanks to Pitbull's greatest hits, football games (including an 0-12 season yikes), watching each other qualify as individuals to NCAA Championships, and laughing through it all... I've loved having here there for every stage of college and life since then - graduation, adulting, relationships, and now marriage and babies. (hers, not ours to be clear!) Andrew and I love going to Tahoe to visit, as Haley, Cory, and their adorable son Ronan are some of our favorite people... and we love it when they come to visit Seattle for alumni weekends or other events!

Sarah and I met on my first day of college at UW - she was a freshman on the basketball team, and we were put in the same Freshman Interest Group ("FIG") with other basketball & football players who would come to be some of our good friends. From that first day meeting in FIG - when all I wanted was for this person who was WAY cooler than me to think I was at least slightly cool - we've been there for each other through it all. Sarah and her wife, M'ily, are some of our best friends in Washington, and we're lucky to get to hang out with them and their incredibly adorable kids, Ryd'r and Jer'z, all the time.

M'ily (pronounced "Emily") came into my life when she met, fell in love with, and married Sarah. From the moment they met, I knew M'ily was gonna be one of my favorite people. Sarah often jokes everyone likes M'ily more - I don't agree, but it might be darn near equal at this point cause she's great. Sometimes we even hang out all by ourselves cause I love her so much. She's a true ray of sunshine, always positive and wanting to make everyone around her feel supported. I'm excited that because of her and Sarah's love, I got another great friend.
Honor Attendant
I could write a novel about Jamie - my best friend since 7th grade when we met at Hidden Oaks (Woo go Lakers!). My perpetual source of unconditional love, support, and unbelievably grounded guidance. I am forever grateful to have one of the greatest humans as my longest best friend, and to know that I'm a better person every day by how you push me. While we started with broken hearts over middle school romances, now we get to hang out with the men that we always hoped & dreamed we'd end up with, together. And we have celebrated every victory, large and small, on the way to where we are now. I can't wait for a lifetime of having her in my corner.
Honor Attendant
Sharlene, Shar, Tin Can, SGM, Atilla... and a dozen other nicknames I'm forgetting.. honestly the Frentz family doesn't call anyone by their real name, so when I first met Sydney I wasn't sure that was really her name. Sydney is one of the most energetic, tell-it-like-it-is spitfires I've ever met, and there's literally nobody else I'd rather be on this crazy journey of marrying into the Frentz family with. We bonded right away when we were in a battle royale for the most outspoken and spicy girlfriend in the Frentz household, but Sydney, Derek, Andrew and I really got close when they moved out to Seattle for two years. It was some of the best times having family so close, and the saddest when they moved back to Minnesota. If you ever need someone to ramp up the party & make you feel like you're on top of the world, Sydney is your woman. To a life full of keeping it spicy and making these Frentz brothers try every food imaginable! ;)
Best Man
Derek is my younger brother. We met when he was born. Although our relationship has been a constant in my life, it has had many different phases. From being babies, to youth hockey, to high school, and now to adulthood–Derek is quite simply one of my favorite people on the planet. We have always been brothers, but in the last 5 years I genuinely feel like we also became best friends. He is literally the most humble person I know who has also worn an Hermes belt. Asking him to be my best man was a no-brainer.
Best Man
The only reason I said Derek is one of my favorite people on the planet is because Sean exists. This man is kind, thoughtful, hilarious, and genuine. He is my youngest sibling and everything I could have asked for. It makes me incredibly proud to say that he is also my best friend. Growing up, all of the Frentz siblings were very close. We were always together and that’s the way I want it on my wedding day too. Which is why the idea of having co-best men also registered high on the no-brainer scale. Sean, the world is your oyster! And I say swing away, Merrill.
Groomsman
Troy! Or Yort, as the people* call him. Speaking of genuine, I genuinely believe Troy is the 4th Frentz brother. Every time he would visit us as kids it felt like a missing puzzle piece was found. And every time he would leave it felt like that puzzle piece would fall to his knees and scream-cry. Because that’s actually what Troy would do when told it was time to leave. Look at you now, Troy! Another no-brainer. * "The people" is Derek. It’s just Derek.
Groomsman
Pierce is the newest member of the circle of trust! When I moved to Seattle I had no one (don’t tell Sam I said this) and after being introduced to Pierce by Sam (love you, honey) we became very fast friends. Comic books? Love ‘em. Movies? Of course. We saw Ant-Man in theaters together. And Mission Impossible 8. And Sinners. And Blue Beetle. And Deadpool. And Superman. And rest assured, going to see more movies with this groomsman in the future is an absolute no-brainer.
Groomsman
If you’ve ever been around someone and felt completely seen then you know how I feel when I’m around Ty. One of my greatest friends of all time. It’s been a relationship with *checks notepad* zero disagreements ever for any reason whatsoever in the history of time. Put simply, Ty is a great man. He elevates the morale of any group he’s in. But he could not elevate his running speed enough during 6th grade Night Games when he was trying to escape me. I am speed. No-brainer alert.
Groomsman
If Ty is one of the biggest cheerleaders for who I am now, Des is the biggest cheerleader for who I can become. Whether he realizes it or not, Des is always celebrating me, pushing me, and driving me to become a better person. I see how motivated he is to create positive and lasting change in his own world and I strive to go about my business with the same zeal. He also blends all his whiskeys together into one bottle and calls it Infinity Whiskey or something. I hope he knows I look up to him! No-brainer add.
Usher
Jake, Jake, Jake. In 7th grade Jake and I played each other in NCAA football six thousand times. His parents bought a soccer net and put it in his backyard for the sole purpose of me scoring goals on him. We have inside jokes, one liners, elite hangs, and everything in between. I credit Jake and his lovely wife Jayd for being the two people who literally and figuratively opened their door to me when I was looking to spread my wings outside of Minnesota. I owe them big time and for that–Jake was added to the no-brainer list so he could ush our wedding guests.

Matt is the actual oldest friend I have, and it was at his wedding where I met Sam. His parents used to drop him off at my house and include diapers in his sleepover bag. “Just in case,” they said. He is a truly great person who works as hard as anyone I know. One time he and I got in trouble for having a beer in our dorm room and I heard Matt telling the public safety officer that he could recite the alphabet backwards if he wanted. And then he started doing it. We lived together for 6 more years after that! And all 6 were no-brainers. Love you, Matt!
