FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for the Waldorf/Hensley wedding?

Answer

Please join us in your favorite "fancy-forest" attire—cocktail dresses, chic jumpsuits, or a crisp button-down and blazer. Think rich tones, forest greens, and elegant layers. Please note that we’ll be taking a short walk through the crisp November air between indoor spaces, so a light sweater/wrap and comfortable footwear are encouraged!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

The formal invitations will be sent out roughly two months prior to the wedding. They will include a link to the wedding website where you can search the names listed on the invite to accept or decline the invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. As everyone in the theatric world has ever said to me, "If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late." That being said, please be seated no later than 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love everyone in our circle and in a perfect world we would love to include everyone. However, the only formal invites will be listed on your personal invitation in the mail. This means if you do receive a plus one, it will be listed on your individual invite.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

The short answer is, yes! We love the kiddos in our family! We only ask that parents be prepared to immediately remove any children crying or upset during the ceremony to try to prevent any interruptions. As far as the reception goes, this will be an open bar event for the adults but your children and teens are more than welcome to dance, eat, and party with us to celebrate!

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

As much as we LOVE you for wanting to document the sweetest moment of our lives, we have a professional photographer and content creator to do that for everyone! We will be enforcing an unplugged ceremony so the moment can be taken in and enjoyed the way it deserves. HOWEVER, PLEASE take as many photos and videos as possible during cocktail hour and the reception! We would love to have as many as possible to document having everyone we love in the same room!

Question

What will dinner look like?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style with both a chicken and beef option, a starch, veggies, and desert!
