We love your kids, we really do, but we prefer the ceremony and reception to be an adults-only celebration. So take a night off and come enjoy the evening with us! Kids are definitely welcome at the Rockies game on Saturday night though!
Your save the date and invite will indicate your name and your significant other's name or say your name "and guest" if we've got room for you to bring a "plus one". Please RSVP for your date if they are coming, otherwise you can RSVP for just yourself. Please understand that we will be having a served dinner and table assignments so surprise guests will be difficult to accommodate.
Please arrive by 5:15 in order to grab a welcome drink (if you'd like) and take a seat. We're on-time people so the ceremony will start at 5:30 so we can get to celebrating early!
Cocktail attire is preferred. Meaning a nice dress or something similar for the ladies and dress pants and a dress shirt for the gentlemen. But really we don't care much about what you wear :)
The question everyone always wants to know before-hand.... The bar will be open bar for beer and wine all night. Liquor will be available for purchase.
Sort of. There is a guest house next door to the venue where Mildred and Bella will be hanging out. We'll bring them out for some pictures after the ceremony but other than that they'll be over there. Feel free to go say "hi" if you'd like.
You never know what the weather is going to be! When we went to visit the Manor House, it was rainy, foggy, and freezing and we still picked the place so it'll be ok, we promise! First of all, the entire ceremony and reception can be held indoors if necessary. Jess refuses to get married outside if it's raining or snowing (my makeup and hair!) so you can expect to be inside if that's the case. If it's simply cold out, we may be outside for the ceremony so bring a jacket if that's the case.
Yes, there will be plenty of spots for our amount of guests and most spots are a minute walk to the house. We hope to have some sort of "valet" though if you need it, probably a young gentleman will be assigned this task so use at your own risk. Just pull up to the front of the house in the circle drive and someone will help you park. Also, if you are staying at the Hampton Inn, there will be a shuttle, please see the travel page for more information on that.
