Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at the Clubhouse at Galloping Hill. Our ceremony will be in the half of the ballroom. The ceremony will be moved outdoors only if we are blessed with a warm March day. The reception will be located in the full ballroom.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample free parking at the venue. The venue also offers valet parking for our guest’s convenience.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! A golf cart can bring you to the ceremony site (if outdoors) and there are elevators inside the venue to get to the ballroom.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5 p.m. We are requesting guests to arrive around 4:30 p.m. unless you are members of our family. We will have a different time for you to arrive for pictures before the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to dress their best for our special day. We request a semi-formal cocktail attire for our wedding. For ladies, a dress/pants below the knee or floor length. For gentlemen, a suit or blazer. You can wear any color you like, but we kindly request you do not wear white or any similar color.

Can I bring a guest who isn’t listed on the invite?

Answer

If you received a plus one, this will appear on the RSVP card. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love kids, especially all of your little ones, but for this night, we would appreciate that you have a babysitter on the schedule. We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults event *The only exception is the little ones in the bridal party or part of our family. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Can I take pictures? Do you have a hashtag?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture one of the most important moments of our lives. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want. Please use our wedding hashtag #DanCatchesAWaive. We promise to share the pictures we receive from the photographer.

How should I RSVP? What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Inside your invitation there is already a stamped envelope for your RSVP. Please simply fill it out and place it in the mail. If you can’t make it, you will be dearly missed. Please indicate this on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be transportation from the hotel?

Answer

We have chosen The Kenilworth as the hotel to stay at. They offer a free shuttle to and from the venue. The Kenilworth is less than a mile away from the venue.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

There will be a one hour cocktail hour followed by a 3 course sit down meal. The food is really delicious, make sure you come hungry! In addition to that, we will be having an open bar.
