After both of us were down on our luck in the dating department, we both at different times, gave dating websites a chance. In the fall of 2011, I (Lauren) was scrolling through some messages and saw this guy. I thought he was really cute but he had one major flaw; HE WAS A JETS FAN. I thought to myself, don't even waste your time. You will never see eye to eye during the most important time of year...Football season. But all I could think was, this guy is REALLY cute and he's located in Saddle Brook. Finally! Not a New Yorker! So we conversed with each other on November 14, 2011. What a great birthday present to me! Days turned into weeks that turned into months and we never quite got the timing right, that was until one night. January 19, 2013, Daniel drove out to Redd's to see me for a total of like a half hour. I was out with my girlfriends celebrating two of their birthdays, he offered to take me home. My friends were hesitant but I told them it would be okay. Daniel took me home and walked me to the door. He was such a sweetheart. For whatever reason, we kept our relationship a texting thing until May when he invited me over to meet his mom and watch the Rangers play. After a long night of watching them lose, we sat watching tv and at one point, Daniel turned to me and asked me to be his girlfriend. One of the easiest yes's ever. May 9th, 2013 was the day we were official.
