What is the RSVP deadline?

Question
What should I wear?
Answer
For the wedding, our dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. It will be the beginning of fall and may get a little chilly in the evening, so a jacket or shawl might be a good idea for those of us who tend to run a little cold. It will likely be around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, we plan to have dinner in a grove of trees, so if you are wearing heels, you may want to avoid ones with a thin heel.

Can I bring a plus-one?

On your invitation it will state if you are allowed a plus-one. When you go to RSVP on our website (RSVP tab) you will be able to respond for your whole party including any plus-ones.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm, so please arrive around 15 minutes early to allow time to say hellos and settle in.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be indoors. The reception will be partially outdoors, cocktail hour and dinner specifically, but we do have a backup indoor space that will be used if it ends up raining.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Take a look at the Travel section of the website for our hotel suggestion and block discount. There are also a lot of houses you can rent through Air BnB and Vrbo. We live in the Green Lake neighborhood and are more than happy to recommend an area if you would like (feel free to reach out).

How do I get to/from the venues?
Answer
We will have a shuttle between the hotel we recommend and the church for getting to the ceremony. Then we will have a shuttle between the church and the reception venue. After dinner, we also plan to have a shuttle on a loop between the reception venue and the hotel. There is more information on the hotels and shuttle in the Travel tab.

What if I have dietary restrictions/allergies?

We are having a dinner buffet and the food will be labeled concerning meat, gluten, and dairy. There will be options for those 3 restrictions. If you have more complicated/sever allergies please reach out to us and we will make sure there is something made specifically for you.

Yes! We are very excited to have them celebrate with us!

Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes, there is a parking lot at the church and the reception venue. There will also be shuttles running! More information on the shuttles and where you can park to use the shuttles can be found in the Travel section.

Can I take pictures with my phone at the ceremony?
Answer
Please refrain from using phones or digital cameras during the ceremony. We will share the photos from our photographer with everyone after the event. At the reception, feel free to snap photos if you desire.
