Over the past three years, they’ve bonded over late-night talks, shared laughs, and more than one spontaneous adventure - most memorably a late - night treks to Times Square during a couple’s trip to New York. According to Ryan, it was like reliving his Boy Scout days, complete with a dose of brotherhood and hunger-driven determination.

Alexs and I first met in our Econ 1001 course, we locked eyes, pointed at one another and said "oh shit". Alexs, Vruby, my wife and I, would at one point go to the gym every weekday together so that we can all get fit and be healthy. Although the gym was fun, there was always one question after the gym that was on everybody's mind, "Y'all trynna go eat?" We would always spend our time talking over a good bowl of soup. We would catch up on school, work, and our goals as well. It was always a fun time spending it with them and "working out".

I first encountered Vruby during the spring of 2019 at Georgia State University during a sorority event. There was something almost ethereal about her; she radiated a doll-like beauty that captured my attention. Her outgoing character and beauty drew me in, and I wanted to be her friend. Then, I met Alex in the spring of 2020 at Hot Cocoa Run. Though I didn't speak to him then, I found his goofy charm amusing. On November 23, 2021, at Gabby's potluck, everything changed. Surrounded by laughter and good food, our connection deepened, showing a special bond I hadn't expected. From that day forward, we became inseparable. We shared countless evenings playing board games, enjoyed vacations together, and went on food adventures.
