What is the Hair Cutting / Knot tying ceremony?

Hair Cutting Ceremony (កោសលិខិត / Kos Likhet) In Cambodian Weddings, this symbolic ritual is to cleanse us, remove bad luck, evil spirirt, and old attachments before we start our new life together! Our Elders would pretend to cut our hair with scissors to mimic the haircut. Knot Tying Ceremony (សិរីសួស្តិ៍ / Sien Doan Taa or Sien Saa) Another major wedding celebration is the Knot Tying Ceremony, Family and guest will tie red or white cotton strings around the bride and groom's wrists. While they tie, they will usually say prayers or blessings for health, happiness, fertility, and wealth. This act physically 'binds' the good wishes to us! ¿Qué es la ceremonia de corte de cabello / atado de nudos? We will only be able to accommodate those who we directly invited. Unless your invite provides you with a plus one, we kindly ask that you attend yourself. ¿Puedo llevar acompañante?
