Raleigh has a lot of great little microbreweries for the beer enthusiasts out there! Start at Lynwood Brewing Concern, hop over to Neuse River Brewing (they have a great burger if you need a bite or two, too!), pop across the street to Big Boss, and then wrap it up at NickelPoint and you've got a nice little afternoon. There are always new breweries popping up in this part of town, so we'd suggest typing "breweries" into Google Maps and have at it! If beer's not your thing, Hummingbird right next to Lynwood has a great wine selection!
Channel your inner child at Boxcar
Challenge your friends or family to a mario kart race, try 10 different pinball machines, and finally remember what it feels like to win an air hockey game at Boxcar Barcade. Barcelona is a great spot with a huge wine selection, and a large tapas menu. Right across the street from Father and Sons antiques as well as the contemporary art museum if you're looking to build out your afternoon! Just looking to keep the wine flowing?
