Bestest Mensch
Brandon says, “he’s my brother and he’s older than me and he’s the funniest person I know.”
Bestest Mesch
Brandon says, “he is tall and also likes the outdoors. We go ice fishing together and to the boundary waters… and Red Lake. I don’t know what else to say, this is weird.”
Maid of Honor
Kate and I met through a former friend for a night of watching Lord of the Rings in middle school. When we both went to the same high school our friendship developed into a glimmer of what it is today. We’ve explored together, fought over big ideas, and still been able to laugh until we cry, 20 years later. Like a sister, but one I’ve been able to chose over and over again.
Maid of Honor
Although, at first, she was just “Kate’s little sister”, Kianna has grown into being someone I get to share all of life’s little moments with, whom let’s me snuggle and spoil her kiddos (my honorary niece and nephew), and is always there for Brandon and I when we need laughs, an extra set of hands for making cookies or jars of tomatoes or pickles. Also we love her husband Tony (whom I consider like a brother at this point) for all of his booming laughs and love. Our life in Minnesota would be incomplete without them in our family.
Junior Bridesmaid
Victoria says, “My sweet, sweet K. My first born niece and my “little” soulmate. It has been an honor to watch you grow, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Thank you for being a part of our happiest day. I couldn’t imagine it without you.”
Junior Bridesmaid
Brandon, "She's about yay tall. And my niece. She likes horses - she goes ape shit about them- don't write that part down. She's a great big sister and an awesome baker." Victoria, "I feel lucky that from here on out I gain a niece who I get to watch grow into being an amazing person. She's so smart and funny and I'm blessed to be her aunt, formally."
Ring Bearer
Victoria, "I trust you so much, Kenzi, that you get the honesty role of carrying our blessed rings. Thank you, love." Brandon, "She's shorter and younger than Alyssa. She has more energy than two atoms fusing together, really likes horses (Victoria: "less than Alyssa?" Brandon, "NO!"), and likes pulling pranks and dressing up like a princess."
Flower Girl
Little Abby! You’re going to do big, wild things some day. I can feel it. I can't wait to see your poses and your amazing moves out on the dance floor!
Flower Girl
My loving, hilarious little Josie! I'm so glad we get to watch you grow and be tenacious and hilarious.
Flower Girl
Hambone and a half and daughter of two of my favourite and closest people, our little schmetterling.
