Sedona is famous for its spiritual energy centers, known as “vortexes” (or “vortices”), which are believed to enhance meditation, healing, and self-exploration. These anomalies are a big reason why Vivian and Jack were drawn to Sedona. During the dark ages—the pandemic years—we spent a lot of time quarantining together, which led to numerous road trips throughout Arizona. For our first anniversary, we visited Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, passing through Sedona on our way back to Tucson. At the time, we had no idea of the lasting impact this town would have on us—a stunning oasis in the middle of the desert. We felt there was no better place to return to for our big day. We love the idea of sharing this part of our journey with our friends and family. While you’re here, we highly recommend hiking, meditating, and exploring. There’s plenty to see—both around town and in the night sky!
