Bride
Just excited to be here to introduce to you my FABULOUS bride squad!
Maid of Honor
Though she has been taller than me for a while and is now a brilliant doctor, whenever I look at Krystal I still see my baby sister gazing back at me. She was my mini-me and we shared everything (even my clothes!). Sometimes we would have sleepovers in each other's rooms just to hang out. When I got my license I'd pick her up from school and we'd go to swim practice together. She was extremely fast for her age and I was athletically challenged so we were in the same workout level. But I didn't mind, because I got to spend more time with my amazingly talented sister. Even today, she is still by far the most intelligent, naturally gifted, humbly confident person I know. Words cannot describe what she means to me, and I am honored everyday to call her family. π

I met Meghan at my first day of sorority rush week Spring of 2007 at UCLA. In fact, she was a big reason why I joined our sorority. I remember those first few minutes like it was yesterday. She had such conviction behind her words as she was giving me a tour of the house. I could tell she was the strong, steadfast, true to herself type of person I wanted in my life. Fourteen years later, after living together, going to bar reviews, raids and frat parties, trips to Disneyland, concerts, countless brunches, family holidays, and several relocations; Meg and I are still close as ever. Sometimes you're just friends for life. π

Erin and I were part of the same Kappa Delta Spring 2007 pledge class at UCLA. Although there are many, my favorite story of Erin occurred in June, 2010. She was just about to go on stage at a show in LA when I called her. I was extremely distraught that no one would attend my Nuclear Medicine School graduation the next day and I was too embarrassed to show up alone. Erin told me that I absolutely should go to my graduation because I should celebrate all the hard work I put in to complete the program. She finished her show, packed a bag, and DROVE 6 hours to NorCal in the middle of the night to watch me pick up my diploma the next morning. Everyone needs an Erin, she's a true, genuine, and loyal friend. Ride or die. π
Bridesmaid
I'll never forget how in awe of Suzy I was when we first met through Kappa Delta Spring of 2008. She was always so energetic, smart, put together, and seemed to have an answer for everything. It wasn't until a few years later that I truly got to experience how kind, generous, and compassionate she is to others. Thanksgiving 2012, I found myself newly single and in quite a pickle. My plans to go to my now ex-boyfriend's house for the holiday were obviously cancelled and my family had already flown overseas. Feeling alone and heartbroken, Suzy insisted I come over and promised that from that day on I would always be invited for Thanksgiving. Until COVID hit last year, she has never broken that promise. And I know I'm always welcome at the Spauldings. π
Bridesmaid
Mel was Erin's "lil sis" in our sorority at UCLA. Fall of 2008 Erin asked me to be Mel's "godbig" while she was abroad in Rome. I stepped into my new role with honor and a month later, she had moved into the sorority house. Mel and I have shared many, MANY stories over the years. I'll never forget us sitting on the floor in my unfurnished condo, eating leftovers off of cardboard boxes dreaming of our future success. We've helped each other rise from the ashes over and over, and though we now lead separate fabulous lives on opposite ends of the Earth, we make it a point to take an annual international trip to reunite. The world is smaller than you think and I know Mel is never too far away. π
Bridesmaid
I met Rosie through a mutual friend at a Fries Crawl in October 2016. That's probably the perfect explanation of our friendship. We met over our mutual love for food (in this case French fries) and the amount of effort we'd go through to get some (walked around with a large group for hours hitting up different eateries and ordering just their fries). Instantaneously we clicked and began trying new restaurants together (surprise). Rosie is someone who honestly just "gets me." I know it sounds clichΓ©, but truly we can have an entire conversation without a single word. She always knows the right thing to say at exactly the right time to turn my whole point of view around and hanging out with her is just easy. Rosie is my rock and I'm happy to split my plate with her forever. π
Junior Bridesmaid
Jessica and I met when Alex and I started dating over two years ago. Since then we've had so many great times together at family dinners, Disneyland, and shopping! Jessica is Alex's cousin and like a little sister to me. I've gotten to see her grow up into a delightful young lady and am so excited to have her be a part of this celebration with us. Can't wait for us to be family! π
Ring Bearer
I adopted Theo during Christmas of 2017. After Mel suggested I foster a dog for the holidays, I contacted my local rescue organization. A few days later, a little white and tan puppy was dropped off at my doorstep. Little did I know that I had just been sent the most perfect dog in the world. After a couple weeks of fostering I couldn't let him go and decided to officially adopt him! Since then he has been a constant source of happiness and purpose in my life and once Alex moved in they quickly became best friends. Now I can't imagine my life without my two best guys! π
Groom
Just a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to love, game, travel, dance, eat, create art, do dorky sciency stuff and can't wait to get married to my amazing Vivvy!
Best Man
As my oldest friend, Avo and I have shared countless memories throughout our lives. From our first trip as toddlers to the US, to fighting over toys as kids, growing closer for the year we were at the same high school together, then solidifying our lifetime bond of brotherhood as adults. We've occasionally had our differences, as all brothers do, but every time we've overcome them and grown closer. From killing it on the dance floor, to jam sessions, to wild nights out, we always have an amazing time together. There are very few people in this world I love and trust as much, and even fewer I'm proud to call my brother.
Groomsman
Very few people realize that Arman and I have a 9 year age gap, in fact they ask us if we're twins.. but it wasn't always like that. When I was in my pre-teens, Arman's interest in his brother's hobbies would annoy me. He would come in to watch me play video games and I would immediately yell "GET OUT OF MY ROOM, UGH" as any pre-teen would. Fast-forward a few years, as adults our interests started to align more and more. We started going to music festivals together, hanging out with mutual friends, and spending almost every day in Discord chatting and playing video games. I'm proud to have a brother I share so much in common with, and can trust to always be there for me.
Groomsman
A man among men, a cousin among cousins. Arthur and I grew up like brothers.. birthdays, holidays, fights, game nights, and all.. Throughout the years we've grown closer as adults through our mutual love of science, outdoor activities, programming, gaming, and hardcore dark electro synthwave. Arthur is dedicated, caring, inquisitive, trustworthy, and I'm extremely happy to have him as my groomsman.
Groomswoman
Helen was the baby cousin growing up, and was just as easy going then as she is now. She was the only one I let play videogames with me because she was too young to ask for the controller! As an adult we've love hosting get togethers, going out for drinks, and having fun game nights. She's always has a super chill personality, one of the things I've always loved about her. I couldn't image a groomsquad without her by my side!
Groomsman
Andrew and I met through mutual friends, and we right away clicked. Throughout college our friendship grew with our dance skills, which we took every chance we had to use. We were in clubs together, we studied science together, we burned down dancefloors together, and were the best of roommates for my last year at UCLA. We make it a point to meet up whenever we are in town together, and can't wait to have him as my groomsman.
Groomsman
Josh is one of my oldest and best friends. We became inseparable in middle school, would hang out all the time to watch movies and go skateboarding together. Even though our lives have taken us to different places, we've stayed good friends throughout the years. He was the catalyst in getting me into my current career, and has been a supportive and positive person throughout my life. I'm extremely thankful to have such an amazing friend for the past 27 years, and am looking forward to sharing another important milestone in my life with him.
