Red Rocks is world famous for its perfect acoustics and beautiful concert atmosphere. The first museum Miranda ever worked for! Go visit the DAM for great Contemporary, American Indigenous, and Asian artworks! The museum is encyclopedic, meaning it offers a little bit of everything, but those are Miranda's favorite collections at the DAM. Located in downtown Denver next to Civic Center Park, you can get a real feel for the city visiting this part of town.
Explore the quaint town of Castle Rock, CO. You can walk around the main streets of downtown, looking up at the beautiful rock formations surrounding the area, pop into locally owned shops for antiques, gifts, and special local products. We highly recommend grabbing lunch or dinner at the Union, B&B Cafe, or The Old Stone Church.
Take the vintage train up the 14,000 ft mountain to the top of Pike's Peak! It is one of Colorado's tallest mountains, or as we call them 14ers! You can get hot drinks and snacks at the top and take photos with the elevation signs. It's a great way to see the summit without suffering a terrifying drive up the steep mountain, just ask Mother-of-the-Bride, Tracy!
