TRAFFIC DELAYS-CONSTRUCTION ON I-90

Construction on the I-90 overpasses at Exit 106 over I-495 is slated to begin at 9 PM on June 20 and last until 5 AM on June 23. All traffic will be reduced to one lane each for East and Westbound travel, and 2-3 hour backups are expected. These alternate routes are not expected to add much more travel time, especially if traveling before 9 PM on Friday: If traveling west of Groton on I-90, please use Exit 90 to go through Worcester on I-290 to avoid this. If traveling from East of Groton, please exit I-90 before exit 111. It would be best to use I-95 to US-3 North for the majority of travel to completely avoid this.
