What makes getting yelled at all day for not returning opened DVDs better? Working with your buddy. Laura and Anthony met during college while working at Best Buy (396) in San Luis Obispo, California. Both were in long term relationships, and quickly became good friends. Many laughs, dot games played, and fond memories were made in that store. Laura remembers always having a good work day when she would see Anthony's black Civic in the parking lot.

To quote Mrs. Potts, “Just a little change, small to say the least"... on 7/7/07 while dancing it out at Mothers Tavern and the Library (biblioteca), is where Laura and Anthony's love story started, (shout out to Katie Trefts for helping make this happen). Laura and Anthony spent a lot of time together over the next year, but it wasn't time for them, YET. 8 years later, Anthony ventured to Hollywood to see Laura. He took her out to Katsuya, and they've been together ever since. They spent the weekend trying not to melt in the Los Angeles heat, watching murder mysteries and adventuring. FUN FACT- Their final meal in LA together on Lauras last night living in Hollywood was from Katsuya, the same meal as they had for their first date.

To celebrate 10 years of their first date, Laura and Anthony took a trip to Palm Springs. In their typical style, everything went wrong. Bumper to bumper traffic, record heat, missed reservations and appointments for their special day, it still became of of the greatest days of their lives. SHE SAYS- Anthony took me to a delicious dinner. I ate cioppino, and tried escargot for the first time. I don't think many people get engaged with snail breath, but hey, we did. After dinner Anthony wanted to go on a walk. I went with him, even though I knew there was no way we would make it far in the 120* heat. We made it to the parking lot, and next thing I knew, he was on one knee. I actually remember nothing after this because I was so excited, but I do remember seeing a ring.. better than my dream ring. I FaceTimed my mom and dad, and ordered an Uber... because we NEEDED air conditioning. We both had permanent smiles the rest of the trip, drank drinks from coconuts and pineapples, and danced the night away on our balcony to "Stand by me." HE SAYS- I was panicking, sweating and I should've ordered the Cioppino

On April 6, 2018 deep into wedding planning (originally planned for 07/07/18) Laura was diagnosed with breast cancer. Laura and Anthony's whole world stopped. 48 hours later, surrounded by their families on a rock in Pismo Beach, California they said their I dos. FUN FACT- An acoustic duo sang Radiohead's "creep" as they walked to the ceremony. Laura has beat cancer and now its time to celebrate, LETS ZOO THIS
