Gabriella Travali

Bride

David DeStefano

Groom

Donna Travali

Mother of the Bride

Donna,Donna, Donna. Oh, Donna... Grandma Donna, Drama Donna. Gotta love Donna! She’s always there for you when you need her, she’s the best grandma anyone can ask for and she loves unconditionally. She might be mentally draining at times, but she’s the best. Though her and her youngest, yet favorite daughter, Gabriella, don’t always get along, Gabriella loves her very much and would die without her. I’m sure the feeling is mutual even though neither one of them would verbally admit that. Donna is loved by all. Her grandkids love her more than anything, as she loves them more than herself. Let’s give a round of applause to Donna for not dying yet after everything that her daughter has put her through throughout the years! Gabbie was always the rebellious child...let’s give it up for Donna!

Patricia Falk

Mother of the Groom

Patti loves her sons to the fullest. She embraced the job as mommy to three boys to the fullest and made sure that Matt, Dave and Pete always knew they could get dirty, play rough, and explore their imaginations. Patti had no reservations about loading the boys up in the station wagon and going on month-long road trips. She also always gave her sons tips on how to be gentlemen from the mom perspective. Patti was ecstatic to meet Gabbie for the first time and has loved getting to know her and the new crew of three boys (Vinny, Nick and Anthony) over the past few years! She's always prepared with a box full of toy dinosaurs and hot wheels as well as something sweet to bake with Anthony. Mother of the Groom!

James DeStefano

Father of the Groom

Jim is that guy who loves to laugh, will give you the shirt off his back, and you don't want to cross in a dark alley. As Matt, Dave and Pete's premier little league coach and backyard boxing referee, he was the dad every little guy dreamed of. Today he has a whole slew of kids calling him "Pops" and is a neighborhood icon in Harlem and Upper Manhattan. Jim passed his entrepreneurial spirit to Dave, and Dave is immensely grateful for the support Jim has given to him in his ventures and his daily role in the operation of Lion Lion.

Matthew DeStefano

Best Man

Lucky for Dave, Matt is not only his brother but also his best friend. They have essentially been inseparable since their parents ruined Matt's only child lifestyle by bringing Dave into the world. Lucky for Matt, Dave was the best little brother he ever could have wanted. Dave is honored to have Matt by his side as his best man, while taking Gab's hand in marriage. Matt has played an important part in Dave and Gab's relationship since day one and has embraced the Uncle Matt role to the fullest.

Peter DeStefano

Best Man

Dave enjoyed the spoils of being the baby for four wonderful years until Peter dethroned him. Lucky for Pete, Dave was ready to be the best big brother ever since the beginning of time. Dave gave Pete his first Sublime CD, and the rest is history. Pete and Dave spent countless childhood hours on Nintendo 64 and hanging out with the Moise brothers. Pete always impressed Dave with his creativity and sharp intellect. Dave is proud to have Pete by his side as best man as well.

Charles Moise

Groomsman

Dave had the distinct pleasure of meeting Charles in the seventh grade at St. Thomas Aquinas, despite growing up two blocks away from each other for much of their childhood. If either of their mother's had let them cross Fairfield Avenue, their friendship would certainly have started years earlier. Dave knew he met his best friend when Charles peeled Dave off of the sidewalk after the front wheel of his bike fell off while riding around Saint Mary's the first week they met. There's no proper way to recant what a friendship of this length and sort means. Brothers from different mothers. In 1997, the duo became a trio when they were joined by John. Dave enjoys nothing more than hearing Charles say, "Sorry, officer."

John Mastrony

Groomsman

Dave and Charles were blessed with the addition of a new student in the eighth grade...a transfer from public school. They thought he must be bad, and they were right. John quickly proved to fit right into the new trio as the boys watched WWF endlessly, at least every single Monday night well beyond the years that it was age appropriate. John knew it was important to always get together after the eighth grade, especially after he and Charles went off to Notre Dame and Dave to St. Joes. And, he always made sure he came up with something for the guys to get into...like pretending we were on the beach in Mexico while rocking sombreros and enjoying a few coronas...while at Penfield. Together, John, Chaz and Dave passed the test of time with no end in sight.

Andrea Fulop

Bridesmaid

Dave and Andrea met when they were fifteen at the Fairfield Counties Dance. She has proven to be one of his closest friends, always a reliable confidant and sometimes a partner in crime. Andrea knew Dave needed a girl who could match his energy and passion for adventure. Lucky for Dave, Andrea met Gabbie on Labor Day weekend in 2011 and they became close friends. They were the perfect duo to tear up the town. Gabbie and Dave are grateful for Andrea's friendship and loyalty over the years and so very thankful she forced Gabbie to give Dave a second chance.

Nadi Daino

Groomswoman

Continued...When Dave started dating Gab, he knew he liked her, but he also knew she was going to have to pass the Nadi test before things could go any further. Dinner was planned. Nadi, Anthony, Gabbie and Dave met up at Lido. The night went off without a hitch and Nadi (and Anthony) gave Dave the thumbs up. Since then, Nadi and Gabbie have become friends on their own. Nadi became that same discerning sister for Gab. And Gab, the same annoying little sister. Nadi and Gabbie never saw a bottle of tequila they couldn't together conquer, and they love cranking up the house music and making fun of Dave in ways that only they could understand (so what...I don't like to clean).

Amber Papastavros Mastrony

Matron of Honor

Gabbie and Amber have been friends since childhood days. From Assumption to St.Joes to Ricci’s to working together and their spontaneous trips to the casino they have had many unforgettable memories throughout the years! Gabbie has also had the privilege of setting Amber up with her now husband, John Mastrony, who is one of Dave’s best friends. They cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives making more memories each year with each other!

Lauren Zawadski

Maid of Honor

Lauren was Gabbie's first friend in high school, meeting each other in home room. They were somewhat inseparable during their high school years. Gabbie and Lauren thought it was a good idea to stuff pillows under blankets then sneak out late at night...it wasn't but somehow it worked anyway. From high school parties at the beach with the Bunnell crew, parties at Gabbie's apartment in Bridgeport, wine and vine nights and most importantly being Vincent's Godmother, Lauren will always be a special, lifelong friend!

Casey Quattone

Bridesmaid

Although Casey and Gabbie were born on the same day in the same year in the same hospital, fate brought them together in 2002 during their freshman year at St. Joes. Their spontaneous energies lead to many adventurous times together throughout the years. From dating boys in high school, to trips to Cancun and Atlantic City, Gabbie and Casey grew to become wonderful friends which has continued through to their adulthood.

Amanda Mintz

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Gabbie go back to high school days and still until this day will never forget the “DAG” days of riding on the back of motorcycles and living life with their free spirits! Unfortunately, Gabbie and Amanda don’t get to see each other all of the time, but quickly jump back into their fun, adventurous friendship as soon as they get together and relive crazy wild moments every time. When Gabbie and Amanda are together, you know they will have a blast!

Patrick Mokros

Groomsman

Dave's first week at Fordham University was a special one. He met Patrick. They went out with a few ladies to the Jolley Tinker on Webster Avenue and quickly found that they had more to say to each other than they did to the ladies that particular night. Pat, a junior at the time, and living on the Upper West Side, loved showing Dave around Manhattan and getting him out of the Bronx. They ran around the City like they owned the place...and still do. Pat became a real big brother to Dave. Pat and Dave share the same adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit, which always keeps their escapades interesting to say the least.

Cassandra Moise

Bridesmaid

Cassandra and Dave met early on in their high school years when Charles introduce him to his new girlfriend. Charles is the only one of the trio that never needed consoling through a real breakup. Chaz and Cassandra after over a decade of dating starting with their teenage romance, tied the knot in the summer of 2015. Cassandra and Dave can geek out over a good bottle of red wine and share travel tales while endlessly roasting Charles for his absent minded antics and always losing his phone. Cass and Dave have actually exchanged more phone calls and text convos with each other than they both have with Charles combined. And they are both okay with that. Cassandra and Gabbie hit if off from the jump, and Cassandra is excited to welcome Gab into the wives club.

Briana Keehan

Bridesmaid

Gabbie and Briana first met at Geronimos in Fairfield, CT. They didn’t realize that night would be the first of many nights out together :) When they first met, Gabbie was looking for a hair stylist and Briana was looking for a salon job. Good thing that Gabbie knew Devon’s X boyfriend that they were hanging out with that night, or else they wouldn’t have started chatting. Briana and Gabbie have a rare relationship. Yes, Gabbie May be her boss, but that doesn’t stop them from having the most amazing times together in Miami, Vegas or even Stamford or Fairfield! The two of them together are always a good time and literally are like sisters.

Alyssa Gonzales

Bridesmaid

Gabbie got lucky when Alyssa was referred to her by a mutual acquaintance, who she just so happened to have met through Casey, who is also one of Gabbie’s best friends/ bridesmaids. Alyssa was just looking to rack on some shadowing hours for her last days of hair school but little did she know that as soon as she walked in to “shadow” that Gabbie would just throw her in and make her start working right then and there lol. Alyssa has been one of Gabbie’s employees for just about two years now and they have really sparked a long lasting friendship together. They are very similar and have great sense of humor together. They are really going to have fun with the whales in Miami lol. Alyssa is awsome!

Shelby Flower

Bridesmaid

Shelby sent Gabbie an email inquiring about a stylist position @ Gabbie’s salon. Gabbie was hesitant at first thinking that “Shelby Flower” was too cute of a name and had to be spam mail. But, with Gabbie being very desperate for another stylist, she called her in for an interview. David then took over and interviewed Shelby, Gabbie then interviews her and thinks she’s “ too nice” and she can’t be sincere. David insisted that she hired her and she did. Shelby turned out to be one of the most sincere and greatest employees Gabbie could ask for. They have a rare friendship and even though Shelby breaks all of Gabbie’s things, she never seems to get mad at her, which is hard to believe because if you know Gabbie she’s always mad at something lol. Let’s give it up for Shelby!

Zackary Gelnaw-Rubin

Groomsman

Zack and Dave met in 2011 through a mutual friend who set them up to talk a little business. They met up at Mayahuel and got to chatting over some tacos and tequila. Business quickly turned to pleasure and a few more cocktails at PDT. Somewhere around 4AM, Dave and Zack had figured out they belonged in each other's life and have built an unparalleled friendship ever since. From throwing popup parties in Brooklyn (the one and only Dack Shack) to opening their brick and mortar in East Harlem, Lion Lion. From relaxing weekends in the Cape to wild Havana nights. Fam.

Anthony Daino

Groomsman

Summer 2011, one late night at the Empire Hotel rooftop, Dave and the crew were having their usual relaxing type of evening stargazing, when Nadi introduced everyone to this guy, Anthony. He instantly fit right in. As the years went on Nadi and Anthony grew closer and closer, and eventually, Anthony put a ring on it. But not before giving Dave a call and sending him a picture of the ring. He told Dave he was in it to win it and put his money where his mouth is. Dave knew Anthony was right for Nadi and was excited to build a friendship with Anthony without reservation. Dave and Anthony are easily confused as a couple when out in public alone with Anthony's child.

Tony Peccatiello

Groomsman

One warm afternoon in 2014, Dave and Patrick were at the former social club on Greenwich Avenue and they came across a sharply dressed young fellow, Tony. Tony instantly struck Dave and Pat as a very smart and interesting guy. A friendship was forged. Tony was new to the City, and Dave thought Tony should know some of the insider spots. They bonded over countless hours of conversation and cocktails at Dutch Kills, Attaboy and even Extra Fancy. Tony and Dave are really good at planning to have just one or two...then calling it after five. Dave appreciates how he and Tony are always on the level.

Vincent Travali

Ring Bearer

Vincent is Gabbie’s first born child. Vincent is a rare breed, an old soul as they call it. He is fascinated by history and loves drama and action films. He’s a very smart boy who is great at baseball. Vincent loves to eat hibachi, steak and of course French onion soup! Vincent is very creative and hands on and loves to build things. He’s a very good boy( when he wants to be) and tells his mom he loves her when he wants something...but he is really a great boy and everyone loves him very much! Just wait until Vin busts out his moves on the dance floor at the reception! He is a professional at crazy dancing like his mom. He loves to make people laugh and I’m sure he will make you laugh at the wedding. Mucho love to Vincent!!

Nicholas Travali

Flower Child

Nicholas is Gabbie’s second born child. Nicholas is not the most affectionate person, but he really is a lover deep inside. Nick tends to be more sensitive than he acts, he is more of a “tough guy” even though he’s so tiny! Nick loves to play sports and is really good at anything he does. He’s really motivated to do good and never gives up, which is why he drives his mom and dave insane with his whining until he gets his way 99.9% of the time. Nick is a great big brother to Anthony and a really annoying and instigating brother to Vincent. He’s the jokester if the family, and very competitive. He’s little nick that loves waffles cold or hot. Nick also asked to be the flower “girl”. Gotta love Nick!

Anthony Travali

Ring Bearer

Anthony....... anthony is Gabbie’s youngest son. ANTHONY attempted to steal the show by being born a day before Gabbie’s birthday. Anthony is obsessed with his mommy and wants to marry her even though he knows it’s illegal. Anthony loves to be bad at school but is really cute and gets away with a lot with his mom. Dave doesn’t put up with it, but secretly knows he’s adorable. He loves to bother his older brothers and apparently bullies kids on the bus, but we have been cracking down on that. We are still concerned on how he survives considering his diet consists of waffles, pancakes, yogurt, milk and snacks. He hates everything else. Although he is bad at times, he’s a great little lover boy and everyone loves him! He’s mommy’s baby for sure!!
