We will be getting into Cabo on Friday, April 30th and staying through the following week. We will be staying at Hotel El Ganzo until we depart to head home on Saturday, May 8th!
Yes, you will absolutely need your passport. Please check the expiration date on your passport as well. If it expires 6 months before the wedding date, it will need to be renewed prior to departure. And if this is your first passport, it will need to be valid for at least 6 months! Given the time sensitivity, if you do not meet the requirements you might want to use a service like https://www.rushmypassport.com/expedited-passport/.
The wedding will be held at a beautiful outdoor event space/restaurant called ACRE (pronounced Ah-Kray), a 25 acre piece of farmland adjacent to San Jose Del Cabo and located 10 minutes from our suggested hotels!

Cabo thrives on tourism and is very safe but like any destination you'd travel to, traveling smart is always a good idea. That means making sure the meter is running when you get into a cab/taxi, not venturing out too late alone, not traveling with expensive, flashy belongings and being in constant awareness of your surroundings.
YAY! Uber has made its way to Cabo. At this point in time (this may change come 2021) there appears to be some conflict between the Taxi Union and Uber. While Uber is available, there are areas that Taxis are allowed to pick up from that Ubers can't. Check the app at the time you need transportation to see what pick up points are available.
While Taxi options are available, we STRONGLY recommend you book a shuttle that'll pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. We have partnered with Impala Transportation Services that will pick you up directly from the airport and bring you to your hotel. You have the option of paying for a private transfer or sharing with other wedding guests that are arriving in the same window of time. More details to come to access Booking for airport transfers.
You are required to have a negative COVID Test within 72 hours of travel back to the US. The hotels in the area have very simple/quick ways to schedule your appointments and your results are received within 15-20 minutes. The cost is around $50 for the test. **Tip if you are only staying in Cabo for 3 Days or less, we recommend taking your test as soon as you land in Mexico!
