A quaint hotel sitting in the heart of downtown! This is where Ian and I stayed when we visited the first time. It’s nothing too fancy, but was perfect for us because we wanted to be at the center of everything. If you are looking for something walking distance from most sites in the Romantic Zone, this is a good option!

Puerto Vallarta Intl. Airport (PVR)

This is the best airport to fly into. Just a warning, once you get through customs, there is a corridor where everyone and their mother is going to try to sell you a timeshare - don’t make eye contact and it’ll be fine!! You can either grab a taxi directly in front of the airport or go to the left and cross the pedestrian bridge to the other side of the road where Uber is allowed to pick you up. Ride Share

We suggest not renting a car, as parking in Puerto Vallarta can be limited and many of the streets are traditional cobblestone, which can make driving a bit tricky. Uber is widely available, affordable, and easy to use. Lyft and DiDi are also good alternatives for getting around.
