FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jenna Greene and Reece Vittiglia
Italy requires all those entering the country to provide proof of vaccination. The USA requires a negative COVID-19 test prior to reentering the country. We understand that there are many reasons why individuals may not -or cannot - receive a COVID-19 vaccination. However, in order to keep our guests safe and adhere to the venues' policy, we ask those who are not vaccinated to alternatively celebrate with us in spirit.
Question

What documents do I need to travel to Italy?

Answer

1. Your passport. Make sure it is up-to-date. Many countries require your passport to have 3 to 6 months validity remaining before they will allow you to enter - including Italy and the US. 2. Your proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Be sure to bring your CDC card, GreenPass, or whichever kind of document your country has provided.

Question

Do I need to take a COVID-19 test to go home?

Answer

For those who are returning to the USA, you must take a COVID-19 test to get home. We HIGHLY suggest ordering one of these self-test kits so you do not need to find a location in Italy: https://www.emed.com/products/covid-at-home-testkit-six-pack

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Church mass. The ceremony will be conducted in English, with the exception of a few moments in Italian. There will be an option for our Catholic guests to receive the eucharist, however, it is not necessary. Female guests should have shoulders covered and avoid excessive skin-bearing.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We wish to have an unplugged ceremony. We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony and kindly ask you put your cell phones and cameras away until afterward. We'll be happy to share our photographers' photos with you instead!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will take group photos with our guests in front of the church. Directly following group photos, our shuttles will depart from the church to the reception.

Question

How will I get back from the reception?

Answer

Our shuttles will take all guests from the reception back to their respective AirBnBs, BnBs or hotels.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

June is one of the most perfect times to visit Florence. The average temperature is 80°F/26°C, however, it does not feel oppressively hot like July and August. Expect beautiful, summertime weather!

Question

How should I pack?

Answer

Pack light! For Women: Leave the stilettos at home. Florence is known for its beautiful cobblestone streets, which are not high-heel friendly. Think sneakers, block heels, wedges, etc. If you're interested in touring churches or holy grounds, shoulders must be covered. Consider bringing a pashmina or light scarf to wrap around your shoulders, and be sure to leave short skirts and shorts at home.

Question

What about kids?

Answer

With the exception of our niece and nephew, the wedding is kid-free.

Question

What about the brunch?

Answer

For those who RSVPd that they will join us for brunch the morning after, shuttles will pick you up and bring you to brunch at approximately 9:30 AM on the 15th.
