The Grand Floridian is a gorgeous Victorian Style Hotel where all of the wedding festivities will be taking place. This Hotel has two pools and a spray park with a water slide. Although this hotel does have activities for the kids, it is more adult friendly. The Grand Floridian is also known for its two restaurants Citricos and Narcossees, which you can make reservations for 60 days in advance of your stay. It is also home to its newest bar, The Enchanted Rose. This hotel has direct access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot via the monorail. All Star Movies is a hotel that is home to some of Disney's most famous movies; 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, Love bug, Fantasia, and The Mighty Ducks. Each building theme is based off of one of these movies. This hotel contains a large pool and playground. If you are looking for a kid friendly hotel, this one is most geared towards kids. This hotel is not part of the room block. However, it is a Marriott hotel with reasonable pricing and allows you to use Marriott points. This hotel has bus transportation to all theme parks as well has boat access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Travel Note
For the day of the wedding, if you are not staying at the Grand Floridian, but are staying on Disney property (including the room block hotels), please use the complementary bus service at your resort to the Magic Kingdom. Once at the Magic Kingdom, you can take the monorail, the boat, or walk to the Grand Floridian Wedding Pavillon. Please give yourself ample time as the buses run about every 15 minutes, and the ride can take about 30 minutes depending what resort you are at. If you are staying at the Grand Floridian, you can walk to the venues. If you are staying off property or want to get to the venue faster, Ubers are available to order.
