Ultimately this is entirely up to you. We will, of course, miss your presence, but we completely understand any hesitation or inability to travel during this time. If you are coming from a place that Connecticut has placed a travel restriction or mandatory quarantine on, please honor that if you are still motivated to come.
First and foremost, if you're feeling even the slightest under the weather or you are concerned that you or someone you live with has a Covid infection, we regrettably must ask you not to come. It is required that everyone at the ceremony must wear a face mask throughout the procession and ceremony. If you forget yours, we will have masks you can use. We will be checking everyone's temperature prior to entering the church and the reception, just to make sure no one has a low-grade temperature they aren't aware of. It will still be mandatory at the reception to continue to wear your face masks when you aren't eating/drinking, or aren't able to maintain a distance of 6 feet from people you don't live with. (We aren't delighted with this either, but it's what we are dealing with and is non-negotiable.)
Yes! There is a parking lot on the side of the church across the street, accessible on Center St. There is also street parking/drop off on the side walk.
Yes! Since we are now hosting the reception in the front yard of our new home, parking at the reception will be limited to 4-6 cars, including the bride's, groom's, and caters'/DJ's. Guests should park at New Fairfield High School which is about half a mile down the road from us. You can either get your steps in and walk up, or we will have some cars providing a shuttle service.
Yes! Our cousins, nieces and nephews are of course welcome to celebrate with us. Please just write their age in the RSVP.
Based on current Covid guest restrictions, we are no longer able to accommodate dates for our unmarried family members and family-friends. The exceptions for this are limited only to friends who don't have any connection except to the bride and groom directly. We really regret these restrictions and we are so sorry to miss out on seeing you and your partner all dressed up with us.
Please RSVP by September 24th, 2020. If you're unsure how to do so on the website or are concerned about our receipt of your RSVP please feel free to reach out to the bride, groom, or either of their parents and we will confirm it with you!
