HOW WE STARTED - DEFINITELY NOT A DATE DAY

It took months of hints from a mutual friend and finally, like all good romances, we met at the pub to watch the football, with said mutual friend and another of his friends. That was that for a few weeks, until the same mutual friend, who has a lot to answer for, told Sarah that Duncan had no one to go to the “Big Weekend” with in Cambridge. Sarah invited Duncan to come to the Big Weekend with some of her friends, and remembering that she owed Duncan a pint from the first pub visit asked if he would like to go to a local pub’s beer festival first. This definitely wasn’t a date. Although the very next day we met up to watch Andy Murray win Wimbledon. Then we met up again the next day after that, and then every day since.
