If you are staying downtown with us, we recommend using uber or lyft to get to the downtown venues since parking downtown can be tricky and the downtown venues are close to each other and the hotel. For our Garba and Reception venue, you can also take the OKC street car that is free for everyone. Please visit https://www.embarkok.com/streetcar/fares-passes for more information. For the wedding event, please drive yourself if you have a car available. There is a free parking lot at the venue. For those who don't have cars, we are arranging a shuttle service to take guests to the wedding venue. You can take the shuttle or try to uber or lyft. It may be harder to find a uber from the venue back to the hotel after the ceremony since its not near a populated area. If you still plan to drive to all venues, look at the FAQ about parking.
For our hotel, there is a $25/night valet available. Please make sure they charge you this rate at the end of your stay and not something higher as we have negotiated the price down for guests in our block. We will add information on other available parking garages you can use as an alternative closer to the event. Below highlights parking for each venue. You are welcome to wear Indian or American wear to all events. Please see more details on attire for each event on the RSVP page. If you would like to wear Indian attire, you can (1) ask friends to borrow outfits or (2) buy your own outfits! Options to buy your own outfits include Mirraw (recommend option/cheapest), Lashkaraa, House of Indya, and Kalki. Don't wait till the last second as shipping takes a couple weeks. See the link in Indian Weddings 101 to see different styles. Here's a link to our recommended and cheapest option: https://www.mirraw.com/
Please see the RSVP link for specific event times. We do ask for guests to please ensure they get to the wedding ceremony no later than 9:45am as we will begin the festivities right at 10am and don't want you to miss out on all the fun!
We are reserving spots only for those that are explicitly on the invite. Please do not bring additional guests or swap out a spot for someone who is not listed on the invite.
All the events except the wedding ceremony are indoors. Our wedding will be in the morning and outdoors.
Oklahoma City is filled with many fun activities for all ages. Some of our favorites for kids (and adults!) include the Myraid Botanical Garden, the OKC Zoo, and the Science Museum. For older kids and adults, we suggest visiting the OKC National Memorial and Museum, Riversports, and exploring Bricktown. There is always Oklahoma classics like watching the reigning NBA champions the OKC Thunder and casinos. For more suggestions and more details on those noted, please visit: https://www.visitokc.com/things-to-do/
