Hello everyone! I'm Saccha, and I couldn't be more excited to celebrate the love between Viri and Matthew. My journey with Viri began back in college where we instantly clicked as roommates. Little did I know that our bond would lead to this beautiful day. The first time Matthew was introduced to our friends, he arrived bearing flowers and sandwiches, a gesture that showcased his thoughtfulness and openness. It was in that moment I realized Viri had found someone truly special. The kind and gentle nature he brought that day warmed our hearts, solidifying the fact that he was not only a perfect match for Viri, but also a wonderful addition to our circle of friends. A fun fact about me: I used to call Florida home, where the sun always shines and the warmth envelops you. So, naturally, when I moved to chilly Chicago, Viri never let me forget how I would shiver at the mere thought of winter! I couldn't be happier for these two incredible souls. Viri and I became roommates freshman year of college. We hit it off right away and were finishing each others sentences within a day of knowing each other. She became my coworker, travel buddy, and best friend. It has been incredible to see her and Matthew’s relationship flourish and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes them.

Hi my name is Ginny! I am a medical student at SIU School of Medicine in Springfield but I consider Chicago to be home. I live with my wonderful boyfriend Zach of 6 years. Fun fact: I love scuba diving and going to concerts/dancing. I met Viri at our combined interview at UIC EMS in spring of 2019, while we were waiting to meet our supervisors we bonded over the premed journey, UIC, and sarcasm. Part of the interview process included a quiz, that we obviously worked on together duhh! From then it’s kinda history, co-workers to best friends, and beyond. Even though we go to different medical schools and live in different cities now it has been a privilege to grow and learn with viri as future physicians and be able to call her a friend; she is a one of a kind/once in a lifetime person! I pseudo-met Matt at a girls night bonfire as Saccha, Tiffany, and I played 20+ questions to gain intel. I for real met Matt when the gang came to my apartment for another bonfire/cookout where he endured another round of 20+ questions but he passed with flying colors. I knew something was different when Viri talked to us about Matt because she was filled with joy and excitement but also a sense of completeness, and when I met Matt in person I could see the same in him, the way he looked at Viri and acted around her and her loved ones, they were and are dedicated to each other. I am wishing and praying for many years of happiness, new adventures, and wholesome moments for Viri and Matt.

Hi, I’m Shivali! I met Viri during the first day of med school orientation, but our friendship really took off a couple months later when we got lunch at her vacation home: Chipotle. Since then, I’ve known Viri to be my med school partner in crime, the best vegan pizza chef, my biggest hype woman, my favorite hike partner, my dogs’ favorite person to herd, and overall the kindest, goofiest, most loving friend. Matthew and Viri bring out the best in each other and in everyone they meet, and I am so excited and grateful to be a part of their special day. Love you both forever!

Hi, I’m Mary! I’m 24 years old and live in Jacksonville Beach where I work as a manager for a supply chain company! I got the pleasure of meeting Viri last summer and immediately hit it off the first time we hung out at Cedar Point! Matthew on the other hand is my big brother who I consider one of my best friends and love very much! A fun fact about me is I love to travel! (I hope to visit every continent). I am so honored and thrilled to be a bridesmaid and support these two amazing people during their engagement as well as far beyond that into their years together as a married couple!

Hi guys! My name is Sindy, I’m Viri’s sister. I am a sophomore in high school. I’m so happy to be here celebrating both Diana and Matt! Viri is like a gift to me. We get along so well and I can count on her for anything. God knew that we needed this sisterhood and that we needed siblings like each other. She’s like my other half, she’s my best friend. i’m so grateful for her, i’m so proud of her, and i love her so much. i know i can always rely on her and lay rest on her shoulder. 💕 The first time Matt and I met, I was nervous but his fun personality, dad jokes, and his positive mood helped loosen me up. His smile lights up the whole room! On top of that he’s very polite, respectful and understanding. I have found you can ask him literally anything and truly he will always have an answer! I could instantly tell Matt and Viri compliment each other so perfectly. I’m so happy that my sister found someone who loves her and that she found someone she loves. whenever I’m out with them i can’t help but realize how much love they have for each other. I’m so thankful our God brought Matt into Viri’s life. Cheers to new beginnings and to a lifetime of happiness!🥂

Between the two of us, Matthew wins on 1) being a better Christian, 2) his intelligence, and 3) his work ethic. On the other hand, God knew which of us could pull off a bald head, and which couldn’t. Between Matthew and Viri, this couple has the potential to be a powerhouse for God’s mission, and I hope we all support them in that as best we know how. God has given me an opportunity to live in different parts of the world like Korea, New Zealand, and Malaysia before I settled in the United States! I had the pleasure of knowing Matthew during Army Officer training, and we quickly bonded over our fervent love to the Lord. He quickly became one of the brothers in Christ I can rely on and trust. I am honored and thrilled to be there to witness these two God fearing man and woman uniting as one godly couple!

Matt and I met amidst the chaos of the battlefield, where the symphony of gunfire mixed with the rusty taste of blood on an almost daily basis. In the crucible of combat, our friendship was forged. Side by side, we faced the challenges of our mission while I watched Matt's life at the face of death. Through the toughest of times, Matt's courage, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to men he commanded was at times the only glimmer of hope I could hold on to. Beyond the battlefield, our friendship has endured, a testament to the profound connection forged through conflict. As Matt embarks on this new chapter of his life, I am honored to stand by his side. I am Diana’s brother, I met Matt at one my son's soccer games when Diana brought him to meet some of the family. Matt fit in our family instantly. I am extremely proud of Diana in all that she is accomplished and I know she chose the right life partner to pursue her goals and dreams. Fun fact, Diana never calls me by my real name - to her I am "brother"

My name is Eli Hall I’m from Upper Arlington, Ohio. I first met Matt at UA Grace church when we were going into 6th grade. We both were in the same friend group growing up and he quickly became one of my best friends. From countless pick up basketball games to late night food runs and whatever adventure came next. He’s always been there for me whether it was words of advice or just having my back in times of struggle. He really is the definition of a true friend and I’m very grateful and lucky to have him in my life. I wish Matt and Viri the absolute best and hope they have a long happy life full of love and adventures.
